By popular demand, the Cubicle Labs 3x3 Magnet Kit is now available for purchase! Each Magnet Kit contains 50 magnets, 1.5mL of polyurethane glue in a syringe, 2 green dispensing tips, and 2 Cubicle Labs Magnetic Logos.

Strong Magnets: This kit contains 5x1 N48 magnets. Once installed, these magnets will give your cube a snappy, tactile feeling.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Simple and Effective

the product came with bubble wrap to prevent the glue from breaking. the kit was awesome, gives 2 extra magnets and a generous amount of glue. I used it on a gts3 to turn it into the gts3m, with the rs3m + magnets on top, it felt like the real deal.

Very strong magnets!

I got these to mod a cheap cube I found that came in pastels instead of the standard colors. It's SO much prettier but annoying to solve because the pieces don't want to align properly without the magnets. These were super easy to install and only took a couple of hours to mod the whole cube. They're VERY strong magnets, stronger than most speed cubes I've used. I really liked the glue as well, it has a few minutes of open time so you can adjust the placement of the magnets if you don't get it right the first time. Once the magnet is in the right spot, you can pair it with another piece to keep it in place while the glue dries. I do plan to purchase other non standard cubes and I will DEFINITELY be back for more of these magnets!

The only kit I could find, worked perfectly.

I ended up using this magnet kit for a Gan 356 RS which is a great non-magnetic cube. I wanted to try something with relatively strong magnets and this kit comes with N48s which are on the stronger end. The Cubicle does have a video on YouTube that goes over the basic process, and there’s other videos available as well that can help if you get confused.

The glue that the kit comes with bubbles up quite a bit; I used a bit too much at first and as the glue dried it bubbled up to form a cushioned area for the magnet, which is great, but I’d recommend using just a small amount at first and see how much it bubbles.

The cube now feels amazing and works really well and it’s my new favorite for still learning how to get faster.

This takes too long and is not worth it!

The glue is not even sticky, the magnet can come right off. Even when you do manage to get the magnets on you can barely feel them!

Thanks for your review! We chose to include a slow-drying glue with this product to reduce the chances of super glue getting stuck to the outside of your cube. However, it also requires waiting at least a few hours before it dries.

Quality products and fast delivery

Very happy with the magnet kit, they were strong and fit well in the cubes. Delivery was fast!!
I bought it for my kid and he is quite happy with the changes he felt in the cube once the magnets were installed.

Nice modification

I bought a D-Fantix cube with carbon fiber stickers from Amazon. It was my first speed cube. It was fast but really loose. I would often get stuck between positions. I bought this kit and watched the video. I went carefully and changed up the gluing order. Luckily, everything worked out. I had just enough glue and did not accidentally flip any magnets. I love my cube now.
