YiSheng 3x3x4 Cuboid

At a price of $7, I was a little bit skeptical of the puzzle in terms of the quality and build of the puzzle. I noticed that many people like myself are put off by the fact that it only comes in stickerless and has the color pink instead of red. I still wanted to give it a try because I wasn't sure if I liked cuboids all that much, and spending $7 isn't a big price to pay. Out of the box, the cube feels dry and sandy and the outer layers feel light and hollow (which is probably why it's that cheap). With that being said though, it feels stable and well built. I bet that you could probably use it for speedsolving if you wanted to. In addition to this, I was surprised with how much puzzle can corner cut (about a cubie). It should also be noted that these pieces are fully proportional to a 3x3x3, if not, slightly larger.

If you're having trouble deciding between the other options, you should ask yourself whether you care about the appearance. From a collector's standpoint, many would rather have the classy stickered version to match the other 3x3xN puzzles, and there are a few of them on this site priced in the mid-high teens. If you're looking for a way to save money or have a puzzle that performs very well, this is the right puzzle for you.

After using this puzzle for a while, I have found a new appreciation for cuboids and plan on expanding my collection of 3x3xN puzzles.

It’s okay. If you’re not looking to speed solve, it works. It’s pretty smooth and corner cutting isn’t too bad. Here are my problems with it: the first is that this cube is INSANELY loud. Like as loud as a Rubiks brand 3x3. It’s also quite cheap in quality and the shades are strange. Nonetheless, if you don’t have any cuboids or are just looking to have a 3x3x4 in your collection without breaking your wallet, this is a good choice.

The cube itself was of high quality, it turns smoothly without any lockups, it's by no means a speed cube but it doesn't need to be. As for anyone starting with cuboids I'd suggest getting the 3x3x2 first.

The puzzle itself is a lot of fun, and this particular one is great. It corner cuts pretty well, and turns nicely. If you would like to by a 3x3x4, I would recommend this one, for it is really good and only costs $8. The pastel shades take a bit of getting used to, but the only reason not to buy it is because it only comes in pink stickerless, so it may look a bit weird next to the rest of your 3x3xN collection, but if you don’t care about that too much this puzzle is great

This is a complete no-brainer. Half the price of the Witeden 3x3x4 and about a thousand times better than the C4U 3x3x4 (which isn't saying all that much).

While it does feel a little cheap, plastic wise, the puzzle feels sturdy enough and turns smoothly. Only wish the shades were better but can’t complain too much there.

fun puzzle to solve and the turning is very good and 100% speedcube-able. of course i personally wish the shades were better but there isn’t much i can complain about especially because of the very cheap price.

magnets would dramatically improve this puzzle’s ability to be speed solved but that isn’t realistic just thought i’d put it out there if anyone likes to add magnets to their puzzles

I bought this because it seemed like an interesting addition to my collection but I wasn't expecting anything great for the price. I was surprised that out of the box it immediately felt smooth and surprisingly well-tensioned for a cuboid. The plastic feels a bit cheap, but as a whole the puzzle feels very well-assembled and I feel like it'll hold up pretty well to both casual and speed solving.

It’s aggravating how this is 1/4 the price as the Calvins 3x3x5 and its sooooo so so much better on every front. I’m sure the fact that it’s a different numbered cuboid makes a difference but it feels sturdy, it’s fast, and smooth! Please make a 3x3x5 like this!!

I really like the cube, but it turns a little choppy. But other then that, it's pretty good. Still trying to solve it 🤔.
