The Newisland Pheonix is a high-quality 3x3 speedcube marketed by Newisland. It rotates very smoothly right out of the box, and comes pre-lubricated from the factory. It also comes with a mesh cube bag inside the box.

Our Promise to You
All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.
Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

The cube is awesome out of the box. But after 100 solves or so it gets super dry, slow, and scratchy.
It also locks up a lot. The corner cutting is decent on medium to loose tensions. An easy way to fix is with Maru or DX-37. Other than that is alright
When I first got this cube, it was because I was just starting out so I didn't know what to get. At first it was pretty nice and was much better than my only other cube at the time, an old Rubik's brand cube. The problem with this cube is that it quickly becomes a very slow cube that pops and is not very good at all. Especially considering the $17 price point I would not recommend this cube. Lubing this cube might help a little, but considering that this cube is marketed to beginners makes that not a likely possibility.
This cube is a knock off of the QiYi bullfight and its twice the price. So if you want to buy this cube get the bullfight.
This exceeded my expectations and more. I've had this for about a year or so, and it has been great for my transition from beginner to intermediate. It's smooth and after lubrication it is very buttery. Corner cutting is a little less than 45 degrees but I'm not too fast anyway. I'm now averaging about 25-30 seconds and this cube helped me get here from sub 1:30. I still use it as a backup main. Definitely a must have for a beginner or intermediate but if you're advanced, I'd recommend something else. Overall, I see no issues. It's been all positives for me.
At first, this cube was fast and corner cutting was pretty great, I only lubed it with Maru. Eventually, the corner cutting and speed decreased, and white powder appeared inside the cube. Also, the Red and Blue edge was missing a torpedo. It's okay, but just get the QiYi Bullfight
This cube was great when it came out of the box! The algorithm that comes with is pretty helpful, but is very confusing for beginners. It moved great and the corner cutting could go from halfway. But I used it so much that it started to break down and white dust was getting on the inside. Instantly it got worse and worse. Now the cube have trouble moving and you can barely corner cut without the whole thing popping. It doesn't really match with the price either so... Just don't buy this cube. If you are into speedcubing, I'd go with the MoYu Tanglong. That is a way better speed cube that matches the price. Hope this review helped
being my first cube ever not everyone has to take this as the best review. with that said, the is a decent cube. i had a stock set up and never bought lube and also had quite tight tensions. it's got a nice bumpy feel and has ok speed. one thing i couldn't get around is the corner cutting of my cube was terrible. it could only do 3/4 of piece and it also had a ton of catching durring algorithms. by the way, i say 'was' because i dropped my cube of my bed and one of the corners broke at the internal base, so rip to my phoenix. I bought this cube before it was doubled in price do to the bullfight which has absolutly no differences. so in all honesty, don't buy this cube its a rip off and for the price you can buy the aolong v2
Out of the box this was amazing and I brought it around wherever I went. Until I was doing a lot of solves and a centerpeice came out of the core. I had to tighten it more than other sides until it came the time where it just wouldn't screw in. I ordered dayan screws and a core. If this happened with you do not get dayan stuff because you will have to sand down the screws which is a big pain. Afterwards it got better but it is still a little sluggish which is why I use it to practice look ahead. If it weren't for the centerpieces this would have been 5 stars though.
This is the best cube I have ever felt and worked with. For beginners the U.S. A great cube. It's pre-lubed, turns great, and is just a great all out cube. This is the perfect cube for anyone in general.
This cube has great corner cuting and is a it's factory lube is pretty good. But over a moth or two it starts to develop a sandy feel. Wouldn't recommend for speed cubers. Instead of this get the moyu aolong or the weilong for a much better price. If you really wantthis cube you should instead get it on amazon.
