This affordable Megaminx by QJ is smooth right out of the box and features high-quality, durable tiles.

Note: Please be advised that the Black version of this Tiled Megaminx has some glue marks from the process of affixing the tiles to the Megaminx. If this is a big problem, we would recommend purchasing the white version instead (the glue is much harder to see on the white version).

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

What!!!!!

This cube is better than a Xman! Once you mod it what the heck! This is the best Megaminx on the market!!! Go get this in white a mod it now!!!!

My thoughts on my order and the company.

The megaminx is ok my other one is better keeps sticking was that way out of the box when it don't stick it is smooth had to glue tiles back on as soon as it came out of the box...would I order from them again..most surging I will its an awesome company been watching crazy bad cubers videos on the company...

This is my first megaminx and this is very hard to turn. You have to make sure that the sides are all alinged before turning them. But its turning speed isnt too bad once it is alinged. When mine came, two tiles already fell off and i had to reglue them on, which wasnt the best. Overall, this puzzle is not completely bad, but it could be improved a lot.

BADBADBADBAAAAAAD!

BAD! JUST BAD! The corner stocks are too short, the wings on the edges are too short, and that makes it pop A LOT! The tiles make it very slippery, and they rub your fingers while you turn it, and it makes your fingers hurt! (sorry if that was redundant). You can't tension this or lube the core because there are no center caps, and there is very little space on the pieces for lube. WARNING: THIS MEGAMINX IS BAD! DO NOT BUY IT!

Poor design

First of all, the tiles are just weird. I got 5 QJ logos on mine, which I am not sure why this exists.
Upon closer inspection of the internals, I realized that there was absolutely no anti-popping mechanism.

Turning this cube results in a lockup every algorithm. I mean EVERY algorithm, I get catches because this cube has NO reverse corner cutting and forward isn't good either.

Overall, this is a bad Megaminx and you can find much better ones for cheaper.

Few problems

When my megaminx came in some of the tiles were not attached to the puzzle. This really disappointed me because I don't know how to put them back on and still get it to look good. Other than that it is a pretty good puzzle for beginner megaminx solvers. The only bad thing is that the turning is slow and there is little to no corner cutting.

Great puzzle for people who are just learning Magaminx. But it frequently pups, and will lock up if it is not lined up exactly.

Cheap (in the best way)

This megaminx is a great buy for the price!!!
The speed is great, exceeding that of the Shengshou Megaminx. The corner cutting is better than average for such a cheap cube. It rarely pops. I've only had it pop out a piece twice in ~500 solves. The tiles are good, even though a couple are slightly misaligned (not enough to disturb a solve). The only thing about the tiles was that I was trying to get one off, and it did come off. But superglue can fix anything :D! Other than that I've been harsh and cruel to it, dropping it countless times and forcing turns, but none of the tiles have come off! It is a great megaminx for beginners to intermediate solvers on the Megaminx. I can average 3:10 on this megaminx, and I am looking forward to getting a YJ Yuhu!!!
