MoYu WeiLong WRM V9 3x3 (Ball-Core UV)

This cube is absolutely amazing, until now I've been maining the UV Coated GAN 13, which is a great cube in its own right, but for me personally this absolutely blows the GAN 13 out of the water. Out of the box it's completely dry, which some might see as a bad thing, but it's great for customization, I personally use the angstrom lubes with some DNM and mystic and this is the best turning cube I own now. Out of the box it's extremely loose and it auto-aligns from basically any angle, after lube and tensioning it doesn't auto-align as aggressively but it still auto-aligns more than any other cube I've ever used. It's so snappy and crunchy, and it's a feel that I'm in love with. There is one huge downside though, the dual adjustment system. You have an adjustable ring for compression which works pretty well but is completely unmarked, you just need to figure out how many clicks you're on by resetting to 1, but that's not a big deal, what is a big deal however is Moyu still using a screwdriver... this allows for uneven tensions on each side, which is a huge issue. Moyu is using the same dual adjustment system they've been using since 2018 and it's time for a new one. I tried as hard as I could to keep my tensions even but sometimes it feels like my sides are just slightly different tensions and it bothers me A LOT. That combined with the lack of magnet adjustment is what knocks this cube down to 4 stars, if it had magnet adjustment and a better dual adjustment system this cube would be perfect. As is, it's an absolutely fantastic cube and can work as a main for anyone who likes a crunchy and snappy feel, but the adjustment features are lacking and that brings it down.

This cube made dopamine flow through my body. My intestines churned with happiness and my liver jumped for joy when I first got this cube. This cube came into my life as a cuber like a unicorn on a jetpack. I immediately shattered my PB a day after its arrival to my area of residence. If I was in a trolley problem scenario with a choice between 5 people or the WRM V9 BALL CORE UV COATING, I would choose the 5 people because I have morals, but I would make the 5 people all buy me another WRM V9. This cube is a huge milestone in cubing innovation. The turning is came in as crunchy as a Pizza Flavored Pringle ™. However, after inserting my lube tips into this cube and squeezing, it became a masterpiece, as smooth as the pickup line I used on your mother last night. This work of art deserves to be displayed at the Louvre, adored by millions each year. This was made for a higher class of organism than we humans. This was Prometheus giving humanity fire v2. You could put marmalade into this cube, and it will still be better than all other inferior cubes. This cube needs to be given to only the worthy. Thank you Moyu for this absolute blessing, I can not thank you more.

I think its a great cube all around one of my all time favorites. the design is nice a little conor twist at first but then it stops after 5 solves. I think the cube has a great feel mix of a rs3m and a traditional weilong cube imo. I think all of tghe features are great and would perfer it over other flagship 3x3s defintly new main.

This cube is the best cube ever. It feels like a Gan but doesn't lockup like a Gan. I average about 10.1 seconds and don't get many 6 second solves (maybe once a week,) but i already got 3 6 second solves today. Great cube. Highly recommend.

Just got it today. I love it!!! Only new cube that compares to the Tornado V3! Must buy for collectors and serious cubers!

wow this cube is great only thing is to not apply weight 3 lube. I had a bad experience overall smooth and super speedy

If I had to describe this cube in two words, they would be "smooth" and "tactile." It's fast, the corner cutting is good, and the overall performance is some of the best on the market right now. However, there are still a few issues with it. It cornertwists more frequently than most other cubes, it's overly clicky, and it's loud. If you're looking for a cube you can use in class, at work, or on a plane, this is not the cube for you. Probably the closest comparison is the GTS3M. It's tactile, fast, loud, and the magnets are strong. I would highly recommend this cube if you can afford it.

However, this cube is old technology.

Let me explain.

If you compare the piece design of this cube to the GTS3M, it's exactly the same, minus the ridges. The feet of the edges and corners are from the WR M 2021, and the ball-core design and dragon-scale pattern are from the YS3M. This cube is an amalgamation of MoYu's previous technology, and although the result is a cube that performs exceptionally well, I would like to see some actually new stuff from MoYu. Although, based on how quickly they've been releasing cubes lately, we should be getting a flagship every week by 2024. I can't wait for that.

I just want to say that the cubical is the best I ordered a package and it did arrive within three days and I was so excited to try out some cubes, I did get this cube I I would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a good cube I wish I knew who packaged my order but thank you Soo much for whoever did really nice costumer service. The cubical is the goat 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

This cube is absolutely amazing in a lot of ways - and I will get to them - but I also want to add that I legitimately smashed all my records and pbs, some by over 2 seconds (7.27s single!) with this cube. It's great. Anyways...

Pros:
Strong Magnets
Core adjustment is as good as always
0 lockups
Once broken in, very smooth
UV Coating is grippy, even when your hands get sweaty

Cons:
Magnets not adjustable for the 3 people who actually use that feature
Logo can't be taken off, you have to buy a blank white cap
Slight imperfections below the surface of the UV coat

All in all it's a great cube, and I absolutely recommend it. 9.5/10
