The X-Man Tornado V3 M is QiYi's new flagship 3x3 speedcube. This puzzle has amazing performance and easy customization. X-man has released 3 versions, introducing core magnets and maglev tech to the Tornado line. It solves some small issues that were present in the V2 like replacing the rivets with screws and allowing the center caps to fit from any orientation. The improved mechanism gives a more cohesive, smooth feel when turning. And with the amount of adjustability on this speedcube, it can mold to any turning style!
This version has corner + core magnets and a MagLev mechanism that replaces the springs with opposing magnets.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

For the first few months I had this cube, it performed quite well with a very smooth magnetic action due to the corner-core magnets. Corner-cutting was about average with about 50 degrees and decent reverse corner-cutting.
For adjustability, it was very easy to remove center caps and both aspects of the dual adjustment system were simple to use. Unfortunately, the adjustable edge-corner magnets were in the edges rather than the corners, meaning 24 adjustments would have to be made to change the magnet strength, whereas in GAN only 8 adjustments to the corners are needed.
Unfortunately, one of the edge-corner magnets in a corner came removed from its position, causing it to fall into the hollow corner piece, attaching to another corner magnet. This means that some of the faces, when turned, have a different magnetic strength, which is distracting during solves. The design flaw becomes evident once the magnet is displaced: the plastic that holds the magnet in place has nothing to prevent the magnet from sliding off of it. Additionally, that plastic bit is only attached on one side, making it extremely vulnerable to bending. Although it is unlikely that force would ever be applied directly to the edge-corner magnets, it is still a very unfortunate mistake that I hope to see fixed in future QiYi flagships.
This is one of if not my favorite 3x3 of all time. It’s been very reliable, but one of the corner magnets broke

I honestly loved when the speedcube arrived, it had good corner cuts, was super adjustable, fast turning, but slight problem that I don't like is that when I do fast M turns it locks up a bit, other than that I had no regrets buying this speedcube, thanks Cubicle.
This cube is amazing ive set PB after PB!,my fastest time is like 15 sec and ive only been cubing for about a year and a half!!I'm not saying the cube will make you faster im saying it has great performance which if you dont have good performance you cant progress.So with this cube having great performance it has allowed me to progress significantly.Great cube five stars..Definately a good purchase,and with it only being $40 dollars it has great performance.Love the Cubehead logo.sorry for the late review ive had the cube for almost a year! The cube is very good and fast. It turns super smoothly and with the right adjustments, you can make it lighting fast. The only thing you have to be careful about is dropping it from too high up after a solve. I dropped it a little too high and the corner magnet fell inside of the piece, so I had to open the piece up and glue it back on. It is a very good cube but is WAY too delicate.
This cube is the best ever like when you have dnm and mystic it is so fast and magnets are good

Cube o a lot
This cube is much better than my previous amazon cube. The corner cutting is great, the magnets make the cube very stable, and the dual adjustment system is super easy to use. My only issue is with the maglev. It makes the cube so fast that sometimes I'll do a double or even triple turn with one flick. I tried putting the cube on the tightest setting but the double turns still occurred. If I had the choice I would get the Flagship version instead. Otherwise this cube is really cool and has improved my PB greatly.
