Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

After a few hours of turning, my thumbs got sore. So I removed all the axil caps and loosened the screws. There are 24 of them. This made a big improvement, and the puzzle is still stable and fun to turn. However you must take care to put the axil caps back in the right place or the puzzle may be unsolvable. You might try lube instead, but the way I see it is if the pieces run to tight, then they should be loosened so long as the puzzle remains stable (that is no popping).
There is some bandaging which prevents an easy solve. Also, there are parities at the end which are "crazy bad", and this is OK if you like surprises!
As mentioned, this puzzle has some shape shifting and bandaging aspects that keep it very challenging. Solving the puzzle is pretty satisfying and not at all straightforward. The V-shaped pieces sometimes pop, but this is rare, the pieces are easy to pop back in, and they only pop back in one way which prevents you from introducing any parity issues.
I thought this would be bigger, like the VeryPuzzle Clover Cube, but it’s much smaller. It’s only 57mm wide, so it’s more portable. It turns smooth, and feels great. Its an edge turning puzzle with pieces that solve similar to the clover cube, with some shape shifting and bandaging that keeps things interesting. Overall, very happy with this one.
