Cubicle Silicone Lube - Weight 5
Cubicle Weight 5 is a classic silicone-based lube that works great on cores, pieces, and other parts of puzzles that need better movement. Weight 5 is the heaviest and most viscous out of our silicone cubes.
This lube comes with a black stopper and a green dispensing tip.
Note: Although the lube is perfectly safe to touch, please do not ingest it, set it on fire, apply to open wounds, or expose it to extremely high temperatures.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

I got this lube because a YouTuber (jperm) Likes it. I was very hesitant at first because the lube slows your cube down. At the start it is slow and gummy, but it speed up to normal speed after a day and was very controllable still. The reason I rate this 4 stars is because of the gummy feeling I talked about and another lube named Angstrom Gravitas is the same but none of that gummy feel so I prefer that one. The first lube I got was DNM-37, but I found that too fast for me so I use a combination of DNM-37 and Angstrom Gravitas which works perfect for me. A good thing about weight 5 is it’s silicon can be used on the springs to reduce spring noise!
Cubicle Silicone Lube - Weight 5
I find that a lot of beginners are very hesitant to buy this lube because they think it'll slow their cube down and instead opt for something faster like Weight 1 or DNM-37 but I would argue that this lube is what every beginner should start with. I find that this lube tends to give cubes a bit more substance to the material their made of and creates a more satisfying turning experience. The main reason I find this to be better than Weight 1 or DNM-37 is that it has almost no impact on speed when broken in which works well for beginners as they should be focusing on improving the efficiency of their method rather then increasing turning speed. I've put this lube in all of my cubes (2x2 - 7x7) and have been pleased with the result once breaking in the lube by doing solves. In short, this lube is very multi-purpose and everyone should have it.
This is the first syringe lube I used, and I have been very satisfied with its versatility, performance, and ease of use!
This lube is easily the most versatile I have used. It is a great core lube and it also goes very well in the pieces! The performance depends on how you apply the lubricant. If you apply it on the tracks, it generally performs faster, but it doesn't dramatically boost the speed this way. If you place it closer to the edges of the pieces, it is slower and more controllable. I found that it almost always made the cube quieter as well. You could set up your cube to a wide number of preferences using only Weight 5 if you wanted!
It is relatively easy to use. I recommend using a paper towel to unscrew the stopper and screwing on the nozzle. The high viscosity means you don't really have to worry about it dripping when applying it. You can apply it in many ways and it's very difficult to use incorrectly. It is quite sticky however, so it can make a mess.
Overall, I've been happy with Weight 5! I exclusively use this lube and DNM-37, and I think it is a great all-rounder lubricant.
This is a great lube to use on the core I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying that it ruined there puzzles but this isn’t a piece lube if you want to slow down your puzzle you can use this but put a very small amount and add small incriminates until your happy and you should be good! Great product from the cubicle like always
Great lube, but keep in mind that it's quite heavy. Would not reccomend putting it on the tracks, as it works best in the core. Helps make your cube slower, gummier, or have a "filled" feel depending on how much you put!
This lube is really good!
I got this Lube out of curiosity. I applied it to my magnetized Gan 356 R and it went much smoother and quieter than before after vigorous use for months without applying Lube from the start. I also applied it to my Rubik's speed 2x2 And the original Rubik's 3x3 and 4x4, and it's a real nice difference. The 3x3 and 4x4 felt so much more tolerable. Both cubes are awful but they were my first ones so I keep them. It's a great Lube, highly recommend it.
You can use it on the pieces like Jperm and me
You will see jperm will use weight 5 on the pieces so you can use this live for the pieces
