Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

good but don't buy for speed solving though, edit actually I like it now

honestly expected more considering the amount of praise the 8x8 got, as this is supposed to be meant for speed solving, but right now I'm not too impressed with its description as a speed cube. The magnets don't make a difference, I think the magnets should have been made stronger because of the next problem, that being lockups and pops occur way more than they should. cube was way too tight and hard to turn out of the box, and loosening it just increases the risk of pops, it also feels a little catchy. But that might get better with time. I don't have another 9x9 to compare it with so I can't say if this is better than the MFJS 9x9 or the SengSo 9x9. So honestly, I can't give a 5 star right now as the cube might get better with time or it'll stay at meh, but It's okay enough that I wouldn't give it 3 stars. it's fine currently for casual solving but I wouldn't call this a speed cube with how it is right now.
Edit: had it for about a month, and can safely recommend it now, I haven’t had any pops as of recently, and have gotten decently fast with it like an hour. But I contribute that to my bad piece recognition. If you want a good 9x9 get this one, just give it some time and love and you won’t be disappointed.

Best 9x9 out there

This 9x9 is really, really good. First turns were a bit stiff, but after about 3-4 solves and some Silk it started to move great. It's pretty light too, I don't get tired when solving it. The only 9x9 I can compare it to is the SengSo and it is leagues above in quality and speed. There are only few problems: the outer layer magnets are a bit too weak, and you need a semi-accurate turning style if you want to go full speed on it without lockups. As for my experience, I've had one or two lockups and both were easy fixes. After getting used to the cube the lockups stopped happening. I have had the cube for about a week now, and I'm still having fun solving it. I've never solved a big cube consistently for that long before- this one is something special. 5 stars.

Average cube ..

My copy of the cube is very stiff, especial the inner layers. The magnets are very weak. At the 3x3 stage especially is where the cube falls flat. The second layers keeps on moving with the first layers when you do the 3X3 stage, this is very annoying.

The best 9x9

The magnets really help with aligning the layers while solving, and the smaller size makes it easier to do algorithms on. Awesome addition to anyone’s cube collection.

Love DianSheng Large Cubes but...

I've always been a huge fan of diansheng cubes but this one is very stiff out of the box and I was not sure I was going to like the cube initially and it needed the tension adjusted. They seemed to have changed their plastic which is now a high gloss finish and takes a while to break in. For the price I was expecting better. Would like to see them cut back on the accessories in the packaging and get the pricing down a bit and make them frosted like the 7x7 cubes which are amazing in my opinion but I think they are trying to appeal to a wider audience with the new style. Still a good cube but it just doesn't have the diansheng feel that their other previous cubes had. As far as complexity goes, this cube is a challenge and very fun to solve. DianSheng: this may be an unpopular opinion but...please bring back the hard frosted plastic! Large cubes are difficult to make well but I think DianSheng could have done a better job if they stuck with their traditional plastic. I think it will be a great cube to solve while sitting idle with long wait times and for doing cube art. <3 Really, I just hope DianSheng finds their groove and starts making a consistent product because they have been a bit sporadic and inconsistent. I have a lot of DianSheng cubes but many feel so different and it would be nice if they started to have a familiar DianSheng feel to their cubes you could expect when ordering.

It turns great for a 9x9

I'm Happy

The cube feels good to turn and has good colors. I couldn't ask for more.

The packaging was excessive, but that seems to be the trend with higher cost cubes.

Fantastic turning for a big cube.

I love the smooth stable turning that the magnets add. Absolutely worth the price.

Best 9x9 Out There

If you guys are looking for a good 9X9 then I would recommend this cube here because of the reason it is magnetic and it is just like the Diansheng galaxy 8X8, which I also have. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this cube, because of the reason that it turns really well and that because it is magnetic on all layers!

No spare parts, Magnets crack or break easily

Out of the box it was *extremely* tight. The screws are not long enough or the springs are too long because you cant take most of the tension out of the springs by unscrewing without the screw coming out. My first one came with a blemish that couldn't be scratched out as well as a cracked core arm piece. Second one was fine tho. Because the magnets are so brittle and item so expensive, they really should come with spare parts. It doesn't turn as well as I'd like -- comparing to my MoYu 7x7, but the magnets are not a gimmick, they do help, This 9x9 is fairly heavy. It pops easily, so I wouldn't call it a "speedcube." I do not have any other brand of 9x9 to compare it to yet. Careful not to overlube like I did. DianSheng should do better quality control on these.
