Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Yeah.. So speed is pretty good as last one. And surprisingly magnets are not that much week.. So you can go for it.. It's pretty much better than rs3m 2020

This cube had so much potential

Contrary to the name of the cube, "little magic", it seems the overall design seems to have been derived from the YuXin Kylin v2 rather than the original Little Magic or HuangLong 3x3, which is what I'll compare it to for this review. In my opinion that's not actually a bad move, the Kylin V2 was also a great cube, it was just a bit slow and it corner twisted more often than I'd like.

The Little Magic V2 does improve on many aspects from the Kylin V2: the cube is a lot faster and it corner cuts better, and I generally find the plastic responds far better to lubes than the Kylin V2, which are traits I enjoyed from the original Little Magic. The cube also has a spring-adjustment system, which is great for a cube aiming to compete with the RS3M 2020/2021; however, in adding the spring-adjustment system, it seems that's where designers at YuXin tried to do too much with the cube. The cube has a very bad catching problem, even after using heavy and gummy lubes on the tracks. While this was highlighted in TheCubicle's review, the main areas of catching have nothing to do with the design of the center, rather the corner and edge stock.

MoYu's corner stock on the RS3M/WRM, WRM2020/2021 all have a portion that is squared off to prevent corner-twisting, which in my opinion has essentially been perfected. Gan also has a similar mechanism in their Gan SM, X, and XS cubes along with their respective variants, and the MF3RS2 had a squared off corner stock and rounded edge stock. YuXin's implementation is what causes the first catching issue, where the bottom squared-off track protrudes so far into the cube that it actually catches on part of the plastic core during reverse corner cutting, and either results in a catch, or even a corner twist. The edge stock meanwhile has a very short bottom track, which makes it seem like it's more part of a double-torpedo than a secondary track, and since that is squared off, a severe enough corner-cut results in catching from the corner stock as well, which also causes catching, and sometimes corner-twisting.

I was able to somewhat mitigate the core-catching issue by replacing the core with one from the spare-parts of a WeiLong WRM, which is smaller. The problem with that is, not everybody has spare parts laying around like that, and while these catching issues can be further mitigated through modding, you might as well find a different cube, as the RS3M 2020 is straight-up better, not to mention having to mod cubes should forever be a relic of shengshou big cubes from the past. If YuXin would have just simplified the design of the corner and edge tracks similar to how YJ designed their ZhiLong Mini 3x3 (because they're also really similar in shape), this could have been a top-tier cube.

In conclusion, while the cube is fast and feature-rich, the catching and corner-twisting issues prevent me from getting anywhere close to my usual sub-20 times,. I end up performing better on my Little Magic V1, and even my Thunderclap V3 than I do this cube, which is a shame because this cube had so much potential going into it, and I would have definitely been able to switch to this cube if not for the problems which I presented earlier. I certainly don't blame YuXin for trying though, clearly MoYu set the bar very high with the RS3M 2020, which I think is a cube that's going to be very hard to beat in the coming years.

You must try this

So yeah this has spring adjustment system so you can change the speed and stability. The cube is quite fast and really stable and it never popped on me ever even months after making this my main. This is great especially for ten dollars.

Good cube, bad for beginners

This cube was pretty bad out of the box compared to all the other budget 3x3s on the market. I thought this cube was just going to be bad, but after a lot of setup and lubrication, the cube can now corner cut and perform just as well as the other budget cubes. If you want a beginner friendly cube that's good out of the box do NOT get this. If you're experienced and don't mind spending time setting the cube up, then this a good cube for a really good price.

GREAT

This cube is fast. It corners curs well out of the box if you change the settings it is AMAZING. The tension system is easy to understand. I have mine on 2 clicks and it is BRILLIANT. It is actually a flagship killer.

Good cube, with one flaw.

This cube is currently my backup main. After using Lubicle Gummy, Traxxas 30k, and Adheron Standard, the cube still was a little to fast, which is why it is not my current main. Other than that, the customization system is nice, and the magnets are the perfect strength. Solid 8 out of 10.
