YuXin Multi-Skewb Cube

This puzzle turns very smoothly out of the box, and I have had minimal to no experience with catching or lockups. The only problems (at least on the copy of the puzzle I received) are a few slightly-misplaced stickers that lead to me being nervous to accidentally take them off and handling the puzzle more carefully than I otherwise would. Other than that, this is a fantastic addition to the collection.

Like lining up the 4 moons of Jupiter, you have to move through periodic sequences of 4 different types of pieces and have them come together at the same time. At least this is how I solve it. For example, the periodic sequence for the long thin bars is 20 moves of up up down down up up down down while you count to 20. This will cycle the thin bars from solved to solved while cycling the other pieces. If you have the proper set up when you start everything will come together when you hit 60. It works!!

Wonderful cube. Honestly shocked at how well it turns OOTB considering what it is. It does have a bit of a catching problem, but it wasn't a huge issue for me. I suspect with some lube it would be much better. I will note that the tutorials out there are not very detailed (at least in my opinion), so please make sure that you are willing to take on a challenge when buying this. I suggest looking at Greg (the maker)'s tutorial. Overall, totally worth the cost and I hope to solve it more in the future.

This cube is an amazing combination of several cubes. It was very challenging to solve, because the center has to be solved as well, it doesn't just come together when you solve the outsides). It's like solving a master skewb, a compy cube, and a dino cube all-in-one.
It turns very smooth, but it takes a little skill to get smoothly through algorithms. It doesn't really lock up or pop, but the inner slices tend to move a little if not held still. The stickers are excellent, though I had to move 2 crooked ones, but that's kinda normal. The rest were perfectly placed. The colors are bright and beautiful.

The price was a bit high, but I love really unique puzzles, so it's worth it.

Advice: Avoid letting your fingertips touch the inner core while solving, especially if you have long nails. Those stickers are pretty safe from anything, except your fingers/fingernails. They are hard to reach to replace/fix them, so protect them.

First of all, this cube is called the Yuxin Multi-Cube, not the Skewb-Cube as mentioned by the designer himself. Out of the box this cube had very smooth and effortless turning. Although stickers may be a very small problem, it really doesn't matter. This cube might be challenging, but I have a tutorial on YouTube if you want to learn how to solve this. This cube is not intended for Beginner Cubers, and you need to cover some other aspects of cubing to be able to solve this cube, but despite that this cube is very enjoyable to solve. The overall quality of this cube is Excellent, and I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a good challenge.

This may be in flaw of shipping. But this cube isn't the best. Now don't get me wrong, this cube is awesome, but when I got it, a corner cap was loose, and the cap world move around during the solve. half of the stickers are coming off and this cube is confusing. its a very fun puzzle, but SOOOO confusing.

when we received the cube, tha box was broken and the cube separeted in parts. fortunately my son could repaired it, but it sould came in perdect consitions

As the title says, a few pieces had already popped out of the puzzle before I even opened the box, which was disappointing to see. However, after carefully popping the pieces back in the puzzle seemed fine. The turning out of the box is a bit stiff but I'm sure that after the cube has been broken into along with some lube, it will be fine.
Finally, this was one of the most expensive puzzles I purchased, and considering it arrived with a few pieces broken and the turning quite stiff, I am removing 2 stars. It's a beautiful puzzle (I got the blue plastic version which looks awesome), but like all of my other reviews, The Cubicle really needs people to check for quality control before shipping these puzzles out.

Out of the box some of the stickers are not aligned with the pieces, and a white one gets scratched every time I do a particular slice. That's frustrating.

So happy with this puzzle. Smooth movement and great colors. Solved unsolved either way it looks great.
Strongly advise adding this to any collection.
