Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Fast delivery and good cube

I bought this cube on the 25th of July and I recieved it 5 days later! I didn't expect a delivery from The USA to The Netherlands to be that fast. I've been trying this cube for a while now and it is a pretty good quality cube. The reason why I did not give 5 stars, is because the turning is not really good. But overall the cube is pretty good and a beautiful addition to my collection!

Good puzzle with some issues

This was definitely a real challenge to solve, but in the end similar to other constrained cubes.

I have two main criticisms of this cube. One is that the center squares keep falling off. Because of the latch mechanism I guess there isn't enough material for a good press fit so in the end I glued some of the worst ones down.
The second is that it is really loud. Like really loud! I usually try to solve cubes when my kids have gone to sleep, but I really wondered if this would wake them up in the next room.

cool puzzle but well?

i have wanted a puzzle like this for a long while so i went ahead and bought some latch cubes and constrant cubes this cube is fun with its limits but if you accidently turn the wrong way it can get stuck or the latch will pop open and the latch will pop out and a little spring will come with it. its a fun cube. and it looks nice on a shelf . if you got the money definetly buy this one its a little rough but entertaining

Challenging puzzle

It is really hard to solve until you find a proper setup for turning. Simple constraints to the direction of turning make 3x3x3 cube more interesting. Each turn makes a sound from a spring inside and I loved it. Also, I like the sticker of the cube.

Sill a must have for any collection

The Latch Cube adds challenging but not overwhelming mechanic to the 3x3. It need a little lube and break in at first. Over a great and functional puzzle.

Just great

The cube is turning as expected. Some may complain about the quality. Surely not me. As far as I know, the cube is turning quite as expected, furthermore, it's not a speed cube anyway.
Not too hard when you understand how it works and it's a good way to think strategy instead of rushing into a resolution just applying blindly some algorithms. Working with the latch cube, makes a speed cuber a more efficient cuber, I think.
There is only issue : The center caps pop to often. I'll try to thing about a solution to make it tight as I do not want to use glue. Piece of paper inside doesn't seem to do much difference.

Nice cube concept bad turning quality

This cube is very fun to solve and i recommend it to anyone who wants a hard brain teaser. Turning is very poor as the cube has the original rubiks brand design. Centre pieces drop a lot which makes it frustrating while solving it. In conclusion its a very fun cube but the turning and the popping centres make this cube very frustrating while solving.

Great Cube, but has minor issues

Overall this is a great cube, works just fine, but it's a bit tight for my liking, which on the other hand I suppose is necessary for the inner latching mechanisms to function properly. DON'T try to loosen it; my friend did and one of the latch mechanisms popped out with a tiny spring he couldn't find afterwards. I would definitely recommend this cube though. It's a great challenge and really fun to solve . One small downside is that I got it in the gold background, and I'll warn you it's not really gold plastic, it's "gold" coated: so because it's so tight the inner touching pieces of plastic have begun to rub together and take the gold coloring off the inside. As a result of that sometimes I have little pieces of flaky gold coloring fall off from inside the cube. To be clear: the outside and cosmetic stuff is fine, great stickers and everything, just maybe if you're a perfectionist don't get the colored plastic.

Fun Concept, Horrible Construction

The cube is challenging, no doubt, but the construction is some of the worst I've seen for a $30+ cube. Not only is it stiff, it's delicate. I dropped it once from about 3 feet and it blew up into a million pieces. This isn't the first time I've done this with a cube, but this was definitely the most dramatic. Since there are tons of tiny springs in each piece, I've never really been able to put it back together in such a way that makes it feel the way it originally did. I hate that a cube I got for free in an order is built more nicely than this.

Excellent Puzzle

This cube is amazing. I was reluctant to get one for so many years because I didn't want to pay so much, but this is a good way to challenge any cuber. Just learn the mechanics of the cube i'm depth and it is much easier than almost blindly turning trying to solve like a regular 3x3 It teaches you to think outside the box when solving. If you're completely lost, I recommend CrazyBadCuber's tutorial. Only problem I have with this is that the center caps pop VERY frequently. I tried to shove paper to keep it tight but glue may be a last resort and I don't want to do that.
