The Angstrom Valk 2 M is a smooth and controllable 2x2 with fluid turning. This factory-magnetized puzzle features a smaller magnetic radius between the corners and inner edge pieces giving it a more stable, tactile feel. The Angstrom Valk 2 M is lubed with Angstrom Dignitas, Angstrom Gravitas, and DNM-37, which provides a faster, cleaner turning experience that is superior to a standard silicone setup.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

this cube only took 100 solves to break in, which took a little less than an hour, after that it was AMAZING, it was just the best 2x2 ever. Corner cutting is a 9/10, performance 9/10 and the Smoothness is a 10/10. It’s just my favorite cube to turn!
OOTB it was obviously slow but then after I broke it in and added 2
drops of DNM-37, it became the best 2x2 I’ve ever owned. It is a lot better than the TengYun and the stock Valk 2. Would 100% recommend if you are into 2x2.
This cube was godly out of the box, perfect amount of lube, I could easily tell it was well-spread out of the box. The valk 2 m is by far the best 2x2 of our time, I've had a weipo m and a dayan, and both of those could have been rubik's brands for all I could see. The tps was terrible and this event is the most important in terms of any puzzle for tps. For the valk 2 m, there is a combination of that smooth outer valk feel (more like the valk power feel than the valk m for 3x3 comparison) with that fast, gliding inner feel. Especially with the angstrom lubes, this cube is ALWAYS great. Most cubes lose their magic after a while, but this one has yet to disappoint. The only issue is that when it pops, I go into panic mode, because I hate putting it back together, and it pops easily with cornercutting that is over the limit, so beware. But don't let the threat of pops stop you, all wca puzzles pop. Happy cubing!
The cube is great, but out of the box, it didn't feel like it had lube on it. It felt a little bit smooth but that feeling only lasted 3 days, now it just feels crispy like if I had bought a regular one. I honestly don't feel happy about buying the angstrom version cause now I have a regular valk 2m that it could have cost me 20dlls instead of 32dlls. Buy the regular valk 2m and if you want it with lube buy it separately and lube it yourself to ensure that your cube does have lube.
I really needed an update over my Valk 2, i didn't like how dry it felt, and this is it. I love this cube so much. It takes a little to break in but once you do it's incredible. I dropped my PB from 5.75 to 3.74 within a few weeks of using. This is an incredible cube. Sad part for me is it popped and now it feels unevenly lubed, but still great.
I first got my hands on the Valk2M when my friend gave me his day old cube that he got servuced by angstrom. He gave it to me so I could fix it. Apparently it had blown up or something... That is where i found the first problem. It's extremely hard to fix this cube. The centers, or ghost-centers, the ends of the core, were really tight, making the ghost-edges hard to insert when I tried to fix the puzzle. There are 3 ghost-edges that interlock into the ghost-centers to help fix this problem that I can't really explain. Then the cube became easy to assemble.
It performs very well. I have done only around 300 solves on it as it isn't mine, but it is larger than I am used to. It also comes very slow when set up by Angstrom. Overall it is not a bad cube, but the size makes it hard for me to use. I get better times on the Gan249. I would definitely recommend this puzzle for any pro cubers, but it isn't worth it in my opinion to get it from angstrom as the setup wasn't good for this cube. If I would get this cube myself, I would just get the 20 dollar stock version and lube/tension it myself.
Note: My friend showed me a picture again and it seems that a ghost-edge has twisted inside of the cube.
This puzzle is great without the angstrom setup, but with it and when you break the cube in it will be so smooth and last a long time. The cube will be gummy at first but nothing about 50-100 solves can’t fix
if you need a replacement 2x2 main, just get this
It popped and the magnets are loose
Most stuff was good except the most important part like the magnets and the pieces the magnets made a weird clicking noise and the pieces popped when I went fast this is not the cubicle’s fault
