Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop".
This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces.
This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts
which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by
corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

For the record, I'm a solver who averages around 13-15 seconds who mains a Ferrocore V2 as of this review.
In terms of feel I would say the plastic of the Aolong V5 has a harder feel that feels almost identical to a Weilong V10.
Out of the box with the maglev it came with this version of the Aolong V5 is very fast to the point where I have difficulty controlling it. Even after dumping an ungodly amount of Weight 5 and Compound X into it it was still uncontrollable.
Eventually I decided to replace the maglev with springs, and what I got was a cube that I can get similar times on as my Ferrocore V2. In other words, replacing the Maglev with springs makes the cube a lot more manageable for someone who likes controllable cubes such as myself.
I can very easily see myself using this cube in my next competition, and I would strongly recommend this version of the Aolong V5 if you happen to have spare Moyu 3x3 springs to replace the maglev.
With all this being said, I'm only going to give this cube 4 stars. Why? Firstly, the stock version with maglev is simply way too fast. Secondly, it requires a hardware change for it to have top-notch performance at least for my turning style, and not everyone happens to have spare Moyu 3x3 springs like I did. Lastly, in terms of feel I think most people (like myself) would prefer a Ferrocore V2's feel over the Aolong V5's feel any day. However, if Moyu in the future happens to release a version of this cube with springs instead of maglev I could very easily see myself giving it a 5 star review.
For its price, the cube feels amazing. It feels like the RS3M and the WeiLong V11 combined. I really like the feel.
I've tried many cubes (WeiLong V11, RS3 V5, Super AoLong, GAN16 MAX) and this is by far my favorite. Out of the box it is insanely fast and tactile, but with some setup it feels much more stable and can be set up to be smooth or tactile. The magnets are at the perfect strength, it feels amazing, and the core feels more sturdy. This is definitely not a recycled WRM V10 and a great continuation to the AoLong line!
I like max speed and this is perfect for me, the cube bounces when I turn it which I like and I got the cubicle fz fast setup and I like the look of the cube it looks like the weilong v9 and v10 and they look beautiful cause the edge and corner pieces look more colourful than my old v11, it is very good at corner cutting and it can do 45 degree corner cutting and it can do u4 turn in 1 flick and I can still control it.
This Aolong v5 cube is amazing! Improve es my solve time by 30 seconds!
To be honest, I just got it for the core, but besides that, it just feels the super rs3m v2
It’s an ok cube, it is over priced tho.
