Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Interesting Puzzle

When I got this, I originally thought this was a pyraminx shape mod but was pleasantly surprised when I realized it was actually a 3x3 shape mod. The fun part of the cube is testing out 3x3 algorithms on it. Very hard to recognize cases, but that's what makes it a little challenging. It turns well, and corner cuts amazing on some angles and on some other angles it catches and has to be aligned perfectly. The centers are also very hard to align. I think this is a great addition to any collection, as it looks amazing when solved.

Amazing puzzle!

I got the stickerless version, and it is so smooth right out the box. Turning is fluid and the solve is very enjoyable. It’s basically a different type of mastermorphix, which I wasn’t expecting based on the description, but I’m not complaining.

Awesome Addition

I haven’t quite wrapped my mind around how this is a 3x3 but I must say the solve was enjoyable. I must’ve lucked into the solution but with the smooth turning and almost minimal catching it was well worth the purchase.

Deceptively simple looking

One of the most interesting 3x3s. I consider myself comfortable with 3x3s, but this proved to be quite a challenge. It can be a little tricky to keep track of how each piece corresponds to a piece on a 3x3. I lose my place a lot, and have screwed up a few algorithms. It can be fun if you are looking for something more challenging than a standard 3x3, but still solvable. If you want, you can stick to 180 degree turns, and it will become a much simpler puzzle which retains its shape.

I got the stickerless version. Some of the pieces are hidden inside the puzzle in the final solution, and it can be a little strange in the stickerless version because the colors of these pieces seem arbitrary. However, I have not run into any parity issues because of it.

Smoooooooooooth

Out of the box I noticed right away this is very smooth. This is the smoothest cube I have. I have played around with it some and I have done 2 sides which got me to a layer but I can’t solve it (yet). It is a cool and cheap non wca puzzle so I definitely recommend it.

Very fun 3x3

At it's core it's just a 3x3 but the shape of the centers and hidden large corners make it slightly harder to keep ur head focused than on the very similar megamorphix

Corner orientation is irrelevant in this puzzle

So frustrating... 5*+ puzzle idea, 2* mechanical implementation

In terms of raw puzzle design, I think this is the most fun, challenging shape mod. If it was as good mechanically as the idea, it would be a very easy 5* from me.

It's deceptively challenging. One thing people may not realize, and I sure didn't at first, is that you can do 1/4 turns, so it makes some very striking shapeshifts. That's when things get interesting. You can have different pieces in different orientations, so you can't tell where the original pyramid edges are supposed to go, because a bunch of adjacent "edges" (which are actually the center pieces, from the perspective of the internal mechanism) are rotated 90 degrees and seem to indicate "faces" pointing in directions that the correct solution doesn't actually have.

The problem is how often I mess up a solve because to say this thing doesn't corner cut at all isn't putting it strongly enough. It catches all the time, you have to spin it and twist it back and forth to try and free up whatever is caught, and by the time that's done, good luck remembering where you were in a series of moves or even what face you were trying to turn. The mental gymnastics necessary to keep seeing the 3x3-ness of this weird mod require focus, if you have to interrupt yourself to hunt for what's catching, you're going to lose where you were at.

So it's complex, and you really want to be able to focus and not get tripped up. It's a very fun mod when you can just do that.

I hate to be so critical—it's an ingenious puzzle, well worth owning, and it might even be my favorite 3x3 mod bar none, when the catching doesn't trip me up, which isn't even all *that* often... but just often enough to frustrate me. So, minus two stars for that. I'd pay decent money for a slightly better-made one with the pieces a bit more rounded or some other mechanism to allow you to turn without locking when the layers are only in 99.9998% perfect alignment.

Excellent mastermorphix variant

As others have noted, this is a 3x3 shapemod, but the hidden corners make for very interesting solves. Fabulous turning and build quality.

Nice new variant of mastermorphinx

For all practical purposes this puzzle is a mastermorphinx with 4 corners hidden under petals. Given that , it turns very well and the stickers and others aspects of the finish look great.
