Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

The best Skewb on the market

The maglev works perfectly with how the Skewb's mechanism functions. The puzzle is incredibly stable and secure with how the pieces connect with each other, and the magnets create a very smooth and pleasant turning experience allowing for precise and speedy turning. This puzzle is very receptive of lube and can be sped up or slowed down, potentially to your liking. I did not do much testing with slowing it down as I prefer speedy puzzles but a few drops of silk gave it a very pleasant and slightly more controllable feel.

The one downside to the puzzle is the potential for dropping it. I have been unable to pin down exactly why it happens but during the first 50 or so solves I dropped the cube 8-9 times, if not more. In the last 100 solves that has been dropped to 2-3, but it still feels significantly more slippery in that sense than any other puzzle I have used. I am not sure if it is more of a personal issue or if it is a problem with the puzzle, but it was never a problem with other skewbs. I recommend your first solves either be entirely over a table or a softer ground just in case, but it does get more manageable over time.

My son just recently got in to cubes and he asked for one of these. It was a little weird at first but its a fun little puzzle. It moves very easily which can make holding it hard sometimes. You just have to get used to it.

I dont c skewbs getting much better then this.

this is an excellent cube. the maglev is soo cool and so is the purple internals. i would highly recommend this cube 2 any1 cuz it is so fast and if u dont like that u can just slow it down w/ some mystic (thats wat i put in it). u should get this cube if u like skewb. 5 stars!!!

It is my main skewb since June. I had nationals this weekend and competed with it. Unfortunatly i finished 11 missing finals for just 0.02 seconds.
I got a 3.93 single with it which is nr 14 i believe

I liked it, but was very confused

This cube is a pretty good cube. It has nice turning and nice corner cutting, however this left my mind very confused. It turns so easy yet takes so much effort to turn it during a solve. The cube is so grippy, yet always slips out of my hands. The magnets are so strong, yet it feel so unstable. I normally average 4-5 seconds on skewb, but with this cube my solves ranged from 5 to 10 seconds because of it slipping or locking up.
The other big problem I had with it is the pro shop setup. This was my first time buying a cube with it professionally set up, and it was not great. The cube felt very gummy and if I wasn't constantly turning it, it would gum up intensely making it extremely difficult to turn. All the spring and magnet settings were different from each other, making it feel very uneven, and lastly all the tensions were different from each other so I'd get pops if I'm turning one side, and I'd get lock ups turning on the other side.

It's a really good cube!

It is really fast, but still controllable. Definitely recommend over the Wingy.
