Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Two puzzles in one.

After about 12 solves it fell apart. If you're smart enough to solve this you're smart enough to put it back together again. It's allot easier if you make a mold from the inside corner of a cardboard box to steady the pieces when you start. I finally got it back together; so you can do it to. I've solved it another 20 times with no problems since I learned not to force anything. It's a tough solve and knowing how to solve a normal copter cube will not be enough but will get you through the first half. The second half is an entirely different puzzle and consists of the center crosses on the 6 faces. You will have to learn the principle of "identical twinning", which is swapping identical pieces to gain an edge. Also, the principle of "retrieving order" by back tracking; (also known as "backwards masking")is used consistently. Some of the disruptions may encircle the entire cube, so "retrieving order" is taking to a whole new level.

Review

Excellent puzzle, if you liked the curvy copter and the curvy copter plus, you will definitely like this. I purchased the stickerless version and was very impressed. After some lube and several solves it turns incredibly smooth. Quickly became one of my favorite puzzles.

It’s ok

During the first solve it exploded and the pieces are too loose to put it back together. As a puzzle, I think it would be really fun, it has more bandaging than the curvy copter, due to the centers, and it definitely looks cooler.

Falls apart

It would be a fantastic follow up puzzle to the curvy copter adding a tricycle resolving small petals and centers after solving the traditional curvy copter. BUT it falls apart easily. The small petals are made in 2 parts a top and bottom piece which slide into each other but pull apart during solves. It turns out that one of my friends got one of these and had the same problem plus one of the center pieces splitting in two. Both these problems lead to the cube falling apart. This would have been one of my favorite puzzles if it would stay together. Crazy gluing them together (trying to) does not add enough strength to solve the problem. I have many other types of cubes and yes some are prone to popping but all others I have have been fixable but not the cur cop 3.
