Grandson was excited about his 2 new Rubik's cubes for his birthday

I like the smaller size but it feels very unstable to me, even after setting up. I think stronger magnets would definitely make this a better cube. Great for the price though.

I got this cube for the size, and because I'm so happy with my 4x4 minis. The 5x5 lives up to expectations for turning, lighter-weight, and overall more comfortable solving experience. Even with my big hands, the smaller cubies are not too small; I can still accurately turn the layers I want to turn. My only complaint is that the center caps are a little loose. I've had a few of them pop out while solving, and I don't even turn all that fast or hard. I will glue them in place, but this is annoying as is an "unforced error" on YJ's part. The caps should fit in a little tighter from the factory.

Fast smooth turning, and small compaxt size. Magnets add stability,not necessarily a click after each turn. It came with a defective piece, and theCubicle sent a replacement for free. Overall, I like this cube!

I love this cube! It’s very pocket-able for a big cube. It was a great cube to learn 5x5 on. It came well tensioned out of the box- very few pops. I tried loosening to improve turning speed and it started locking up so tightened it back up.

I can’t spin it as fast as I’ve seen in reviews but maybe I just need more practice. Highly recommend.

Also I have the 4x4 from the same series. They feel like completely different cubes. The 4x4 is very crunchy and pops all the time. This is much smoother. If you have the 4x4, don’t use it for comparison.

honestly when i got this i thought the perfomance was amazing and the feel was pretty nice but the fact that when i swapped to 6x6 and especially 7x7 i got some bad news that this cube was too small and it makes the transition to 6x6 and 7x7 way harder. honestly get a yuxin little magic 5 cause its as good for the same price but not really and if you do 6 and 7 than it makes it easier to transition to them.

All of the layers are really consistent and I can turn as fast as I turn on 3x3 on it. I love this cube. I never thought of myself having small hands but still having a 5x5 the size of a 3x3 is really nice. It instantly broke my 5x5 pb by a lot. I would only use past lubes on it because it is already a really good speed. It didn't take more than 5 solves to break in the cube. I am yt to get under the centercaps and fix the sping noise but that isn't anything a little wieght 5 on the core cant fix. I think this size really suits a 5x5 and I would like to see more 58 mm 5x5s

This cube is good but it popped like immediately. i tightened it and it's ok but I still don't recommend as the turning is not the best out there. Plus the caps of the centerpieces always pop off and it's annoying. I'd recommend the Yuxin Little Magic 5x5 (M) or the YJ MGC 5x5. Overall the cube is OK.

This is one of the worst 5x5 in the market. I tried to turn it and it immediately popped. Than I tried to riassemble it but it was so tight that it litteraly exploded in my hands. Don't buy this.
