When will Cubing Clash New York take place?

Doors open March 9th at 1:30PM ET for the general audience. Our VIP experience starts on March 9th at 11:00AM ET. 

Where is Cubing Clash New York?

Cubing Clash New York will take place at the Flushing Town Hall, 137-35 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11354. 

Where can I park? 

Our event takes place on Sunday, so street parking around the venue will be available. There are also a few nearby municipal parking lots. We recommend arriving slightly early if you are not familiar with driving in the Queens area. 

Who can attend?

Everyone is welcome! Please note minors (any person under the age of 18) must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must be responsible for their own tickets. If you have questions or requests, please reach out to us via email at support@thecubicle.com. 

What will happen at the event?

Tymon Kolasiński will be racing Yiheng Wang in an exciting head-to-head format. The competitors will be racing in sets. A set is won when one competitor wins 3 out of 5 head-to-head races. The first player to win 5 sets is considered the winner. 

What will the viewing experience be like? 

You are welcome to always watch the competitors from your seat. Additionally, we will have cameras behind each competitor capturing each competitor’s solves. The feed from the cameras will be projected on stage. 

Can I meet the competitors one-on-one?

The VIP experience allows you to meet the competitors, take photos, get autographs, do solves, and have lunch together. Due to the size of the event and limitations in schedule, we cannot guarantee one-on-one interactions with general admissions guests. 

Will there be merchandise or puzzles for sale? 

Yes! We will be offering a t-shirt, two posters, and a tote bag for sale. We will also carry a small assortment of speedcubes and other accessories. Event stickers and a postcard will be provided for guests for free. 

Will the show be filmed or live-streamed?

We will be filming the show from multiple angles and documenting the experience. This event will not be live-streamed. Please note we may record footage of the crowd to supplement and enhance our video presentation.

Can I take photos/videos?

Yes, as long as it does not disrupt the competitors. Please do not use any device that can cause flashes or loud noises during the event.  

Should I bring a cube?

VIP ticket holders should bring their own cube if they wish to solve with Tymon and Yiheng. Everyone is welcome to bring a puzzle. However, please be respectful of the competitors by not making noise while they solve on stage. If you do bring your own puzzles, please be responsible for your belongings. 

Can I bring food and drinks to the venue? 

Out of respect for the venue space, please do not bring food and drink into the venue aside from water or essentials if you have a medical condition. 

How do I know where to sit once I arrive? 

We will have staff members on-site to help you locate your seating area. Seats in each particular area will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Can I get a refund for a ticket? 

Unfortunately, for organizational purposes, we cannot offer refunds on these tickets. Please be mindful of how many tickets you need and which event/s you plan on attending.

I haven’t received my ticket yet 

Tickets will be digitally delivered after your purchase. If it has been 30 minutes since your order was placed and you have not received anything (including in spam), please contact support@thecubicle.com.
