Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Turning is sandy but not annoying, and it is very fun to solve, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to expand their cuboid collection.
It's a serviceable puzzle, but the pieces just feel so unstable -- and not in the nice, springy way of a loosely-tuned speed cube, in a cheap way that still manages to have pieces snag on each other and lock up when you turn them. Because of this I really don't get a lot of use out of this puzzle. Honestly... you wouldn't be doing yourself a disservice by skipping this one and getting a 3x3x5 instead.
I thought this was going to be made a little better like other calvins puzzles. it seems hollow, very loose and has a cheap feel to the puzzle. I am not impressed with this calvins 3x3x4
I just got this puzzle and its already one of my favorite cuboids. Solving this puzzle is a pleasure! The stickers look nice, the puzzle came tensioned just right, the feelbis slightly hard and blocky with a sandy sound but it still turns smooth without any catches or lock ups. Highly recommend this puzzle.
this puzzle is incredibly smooth, and looks incredible. it doesn't corner cut that well, but any corner cutting is pretty impressive. my only complaint is the papery smooth feeling feeling that resonates with calvin puzzles and 3D printed puzzles. other then that, the puzzle is lovely
The 3x3x4 is a very fun and easy cuboid I recommend it for beginners who are just getting into other puzzles. The only problem I had with it was that it was very loose and unstable out of the box and very dry as well but I sure if it is lubricated and tensioned it would be a excellent puzzle.
The springs in this puzzle are loud and the hold the top layers in place while you're trying to turn the middle layers. It locks up a few times during every solve and it's impossible to tension. It's either WAY too loose or WAY too tight, there is no goldilocks zone. Definitely not worth $20
The turning is incredibly smooth and quick out of the box with no need to add lube. It turns with a light swishy feel and a gentle scratching noise. It even corner cuts fairly well (one cubie - more is asking for a pop), although at tighter tensions it can occasionally catch or lock.
The inner faces of the corner cubies have an smooth cap which seems to come loose easily if you pop or take it apart, but they are easily replaced and not having them doesn't even seem to affect the performance.
Great cube, with solid feel, good plastic, and nice stickers. Turns fast and smooth in all directions.
It's actually one of my favorite cubes. I love the hard and durable plastic they used, the stickers are very good quality, turns very easily, and solves fast. The only things that bugs me is that it will pop every once and a while, I have the tension pretty loose though so I can't blame the cube. Overall, I'd definitely recommend.
