Product Description

The Celeritas WeiLong WR M MagLev features purple internals, adjustable magnets, an adjustable tension/compression system, and MagLev technology. This MagLev technology uses opposing magnets to replicate spring force, which greatly reduces friction and eliminates spring noise. The Celeritas Weilong WR M MagLev is lubed with a balanced mixture of Angstrom Gravitas, Angstrom Celeritas, and DNM-37. This mixture produces a fast and long-lasting feel that is superior to a traditional silicone setup and requires very little break in.

    Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

    My first cube

I can't say I have experience with lots of cubes so I just say that from the start. What I will say is my son and his buddies all have cubes now, so I took out my old Rubik's cube and it barely turns. The one my son has is super slick and fast and easy to use, but it is non-magnetic. It can be a bit difficult to manipulate as things slide by on you quickly as you turn it.
He played with one at school that had magnets in it. Our neighbor got one, it is a GAN cube, with magnets in it. We both tried that and it was amazing the difference ! The cube just like slots into place. It isn't like it "clicks" into place, more like, it gets a little help stopping where it should. My son ordered one that happened to be a Weilong. The neighbor and him were talking about how his other one started feeling scratchy and not as smooth. He said, "oh you need lube for it."
I decided it was high time to replace my old Rubik's cube with a new one that was much easier to use, so I decided on the magnetic kind. When I saw this one had purple inside, I instantly thought that was awesome. The colors are nice and bright and sharp. Not having stickers on there is totally fantastic. My old Rubik's cube looks all beat up. I like the rounded center pieces and the soft matte finish it has.
I decided to get the Celeritas lube setup from Cubicle as having used my son's weilong, I can see what the neighbor means, it just isn't as 'glide-y' as the lubed one. I am glad I did because the cube from Cubicle to me is luxurious. Turning it is easy but not too fast, it snaps right to place, I can make it go fast if I want to, but not too fast for me as I am a beginner. We both only know the beginner method and are working on the next step.
I ordered some Celeritas the other day because it is so nice I thought my son would like it on his. I realize the pro job they do involves more than that, but I am still learning and we have to start somewhere ! I think it will do a nice job on my son's weilong.
I have solved this cube now a bunch of times, I don't know 50 times or more probably and it still feels really great, it is a little faster than when I first got it but it is totally still lubed and working really nicely. If anything maybe I'd slow it down a little bit, but it is such a vast improvement over my old cube and also over our non-magnetic one, I really like it. I would also note, that the non-lubed one shows quite a lot of scratching on the cube pieces where they contact each other, and this one has much less, which I attribute to the great lube job done by Cubicle. If they were up the street, I'd probably pop in and hand it to them every couple months for maintenance service !
I think if someone is thinking of getting this cube, you'd be really happy with it, it looks super cool with the purple insides, and it is great with the Cubicle Celeritas lube setup. I hope this helps !
