The CubeStyle Carbon Fiber Penrose 3x3 is a 3-colored cube in which various edges of the cube have been rounded off to form a repeating pattern across the cube. This version has black carbon fiber stickers on each piece. The presence of only 3 colors of plastic and multiple identical-looking pieces introduces additional parities, which makes solving the Penrose 3x3 a unique challenge.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I saw this cube in a video a little while back and put it on my list of cubes i want to buy. Got around to purchasing it and it is surprisingly good for the price, yes you can sometimes hear the springs and the corners do turn unexpectedly, but you get what you get for the price. The puzzle itself is solved just like a 3x3, but there comes “parities” on the last layer because there are three identical edge pieces with each color combo. Overall, great cube and good price.
This is such a cool puzzle, which solves like a 3x3. The carbon fiber part is slightly misaligned on some pieces that gives this a cheap look, but that's just an aesthetic issue. It feels stiff out of the box, but after a few turns it has that nice sandy, smooth feel.
The cube is a little stiff out of the box, but other that that is is great!
I like this puzzle and feel like it is more challenging than the original Penrose because of the directions on the carbon fiber stickers almost like a picture cube, although it is a fun challenge it's not very nice to turn, it just feels cheap. Overall I recommend this cube to anyone look it for a unique 3x3 shapemod
This cube is not great, but it is good. Has very good sticker quality and the cube turns decently. The only problem is you can hear the springs in it and locks up sometimes. But that might be my turning style. All around good cube if you get rid of the sound.
I had read another review before buying that said this cube took some time to break in but felt great after. I was not convinced when I started using it as it was VERY stiff and clunky, but it broke in substantially more than other cubes I've used and really does have a very smooth, dry feeling to it now. Cornering isn't fantastic, and due to the nature of a cube with only 3 colors it occasionally won't solve due to two of the identical pieces being in each others' spaces, but it is a very good cube for the money and a wicked cool addition to my (rapidly growing) shelf!
