Product Description

The DaYan Gem Cube series consists of an assortment of bizarre, many-sided puzzles that resemble multifaceted gem stones. The different gem cubes can be manipulated in a variety of different ways that makes each of them a unique puzzle to solve.

Note on Stickers: Many of the stickers are quite small, so a few of them may shift around during transportation. However, all DaYan Gem VI cubes will come with an extra set of stickers to replace any stickers that have fallen off. The transparent green version comes unstickered with 2 sets of stickers.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Good if you know how to use it.

Out of the box, this puzzle is stiff and difficult to turn, and once you do manage to turn it, it is very difficult to keep the small "pyraminx crystal" edges from popping out of place. With some practice, I now manage to turn the puzzle without major issues most of the time, but the turning quality of this puzzle is generally bad, and I've had to replace nearly every one of the smaller stickers using the replacement set (included).

With that being said, this puzzle has one of the most satisfying solves of any twisty puzzle I own, and in that respect is well worth the price. It's not easy or redundant, but it isn't as difficult as something like Eitan's Star. The overall solve of this puzzle keeps me interested for hours at a time, and the appearance of it (solved or scrambled) is absolutely incredible, definitely a showpiece for any collection. For $59, this puzzle is certainly an investment, but if you get it you probably won't be sorry.

I've just gotten this as a Birthday present, I love it.
OOTB it was really stiff, lube is strongly advised. I too hard a small piece fall away, I wouldn't call it a pop because I wasn't really turning it.
So far, I've been really satisfied with this puzzle, I'm getting familiar with the design before I really scramble it. This so far seems like it will be a lot of fun to solve.

Pretty cool but it doesn’t move well

I enjoy a complicated puzzle but it’s just so difficult to turn, even with lube. Also, if you turn it without lining everything up, you might fling a piece off. It takes patience but if you can get past that, it’s an impressively complex cube
