The DaYan TengYun M is a smooth, 55 mm 3x3 speed cube that is one of the quietest 3x3’s on the market. It has a unique design and feel that sets it apart from other modern 3x3's.
Out of the box the puzzle is a little scratchy, but after some light breaking in the turning is fantastic. This is definitely the best release from DaYan in recent times.
- DaYan TengYun M 3x3
- Two extra sets of springs (standard and strong)
- Dayan pamphlet

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

It's a great cube, best cubes level 👌.
I got this as a birthday gift from my mom.
OOTB it was uncontrollably smooth and full of lube. I changed the springs to the stronger ones and added weight 5, cleaned all the pieces and added Dayan Silicone lube on the tracks bcz I don't have any premium lube. but i think dignitas and dnm-37 would work well. also this cube isn't as quiet as people describe. it's a little bit quiet and low pitched. My pb is 11.56 and I hope I'd get my first sub-10 with this cube:)
The cube is just... ok. It is not as quiet as people say it is and the magnet strength is way too weak, which makes the cube a bit unstable. Also, I don't know if this is only my cube, but the turning is not that smooth. It's a little bit sandy and slightly louder than my GAN 356 X.
Edit: The cube is amazing. After setting it up well it's really good. Mine felt sandy at first but after a lot of breaking in, now it is a smooth and quiet as promised by other people
I had it for a bit more know, using it in comp and stuff but I tried it without any setup except lube because I was genuinely curious how anyone could use the cube OOTB because quite literally two corners and one edge all came out together when I was solving and they corner twist. However, it might be better after setting up so I won't be that picky right now. But as of now I must say the cube is bad as the unusual plastic piece on the edge makes the cube catch a lot and it isn't the best experience. Although the adjustments on the V2 are hectic, I must say that the V2 wins it overall. However, if you must get DaYan cubes, then get the Zhanchi Pro but I highly suggest the RS3M (this ongoing thing since RS3M released) or the GAN 11 M Pro although the RS3M is on my top tier.
I've had this cube for over 2 years now, and I have to say that this cube is truly unique from all the others that I have. The cube after setup is quiet, smooth, and a joy to solve on. It also works really well for OH solving due to the smaller size. This cube is currently my main, and I don't think that I'll be switching to anything else for a while.
First of all, the cube isn't exactly that quiet as people describe it and second the factory lube is just affecting the cube in a way that I can't exactly explain. furthermore, this cube is too flimsy and easily corner twists-works perfectly for OH in terms of size but really bad when you go fast and have to twist it back. I honestly don't know what lube would work. Finally, the screw inside the core is one that vastly differs from the MoYu or QiYi cubes or just generally any cube with screws and stuff. Hopefully when I set it up, it might work.
This cube is very quiet and smooth. The slices have very little resistance and is great for LSE, and the magnets are on the weaker side. Compared to the RS3M 2020, there definitely is not that strong notchy-clicky feel from the magnets. The cube was overflowing with lube out of the box, so be careful when unboxing not to get the lube all over the place like I did :). Very impressed, but I had to change out the sticker shades for orange and red since it was causing a lot of bad EO for me.
I ended up moving the red stickers on this cube to the orange side (as the red shades actually match the oranges for a bunch of my cubes), and then I put half bright reds on the red side.
Great cube!!! I loved it out of the box and it only got better as I broke it in. Although I feel the need to remind anyone reading this that it is not for everyone. BE WARNED! It is a very fast cube, and if you overshoot your turns, you will probably have a problem with this. It is very easy to double turn. It should be noted however, that I got used to this, and was able to use the speed to my advantage after getting used to it. Another important thing is how fun it is to turn. A good cube should be made so that it is a joy to turn it every time, and this cube is just that. And if you like corner cutting, this cube basically has infinite corner cutting.
My first "speed cube". My first solve was in the early '80s, so reviving skills and memories. Great step up at price point, and nice and quiet.
Order, service and delivery without any problems.
Super quiet, smooth, and reliable. I especially love the slice turns.
