Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I should have known by reading the description that this was just a 3x3 shapemod but I still think it is misleading to put multiple stickers on one piece to make a puzzle appear more complex. This is not why i am rating it 3 stars though. It turns very weird. It feels super loose even after tightening the screws and it always feels as if it will fall apart. Also I can hardly tell the red from the orange even in good lighting.
This is a very interesting 3x3 shape mod and the it shape shifts very interestingly. Overall, I am impressed with the design, but the turning feels too tight and restricted. There is no corner cutting at all so you have to line everything up perfectly to turn it. It's not the fastest cube either. Unless you mod it and sand the pieces down or build your own, you'll be stuck with a very uneven puzzle.
I should've read the description, as I was fooled by the picture. It's just a 3x3 shape mod as described and solves just like a 3x3 where center orientation matters.
3 Rating is for quality, not because because I didn't read the description. I actually didn't find the quality to be that high, it feels really cheap. I'd give the turning a 3 out of 5, not the worst but could definitely be better. I wouldn't recommend this.
I bought this puzzle a while back and was very happy with the solve, I solve it all the time and enjoy showing it off to my friends and family, but... It had very bad turning, very little corner cutting and the stickers were peaking off, so I lubricated it, tensioner it and restocked it with hand cut stickers (which takes a lot of time) and it was good to go. I am going to give this cube a 4 of 5 stars because although it is very fun to solve, it takes a while to set it up the way you want it to be. Over all this is a nice puzzle and I would recommend it to anyone that likes a good shape mod.
great puzzle for the price. I got it because it's nothing like any other puzzle in my collection and it looks cool as heck. it turns fairly well but it has a tendency to catch, which is often a problem for shape shifting puzzles like this. it's a really fun solve and a great addition to any cuber's collection
Now, I actually didn't buy this from the Cubicle, but I actually got it as a present from my parents as a birthday present. When I fist opened it, I was AMAZED! It turned WAYYYYYYYY better than I thought it would and is one of my Favorite cubes in my collection!
i like the concept and its fun to solve but(t) the turning is so bad that i would recommend buying it to see the pieces and then build your own.
When I got this puzzle, I had only been cubing for a month or so. Now, I've been cubing for over a year and it's one of my favorite non-WCA puzzles that I have. The turning is great, but only once everything is lined up properly. Over all, I would recommend this puzzle to anyone looking to get a 3x3 shape mod.
It is a fun puzzle, however the center caps weren't very secure. Overall a good puzzle I recommend it.
This puzzle is in my top five favorites. It's the most entertaining 3x3 shape-shifter I've ever played with. The cube turns with no problems. The shapeshifting on this cube is crazy cool. All in all, I love it. If anything I think $10 is a great deal for such a good cube.
