Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Best Speedsolving Gigaminx

At the time of writing this review, I currently hold the world best for gigaminx with a 5:07 single. This puzzle is by far the best currently on the market for speedsolving gigaminx. It's much smaller than other gigaminxes, actually only 2 or 3 mm larger than the Yuhu megaminx, but it doesn't feel too small when solving. The magnets are great and help a lot with turning the layers you want to turn. The turning is crisp, smooth, and fairly fast with lube. I loosened the puzzle by a quarter turn from the factory tensions. The puzzle does have some issues with pops and lockups where pieces come out of place and sometimes these lockups kill a solve, but generally they're pretty manageable. The biggest issue with this puzzle in my eyes is the flash on the + centers. Each and every one had a bit of extra plastic where there shouldn't be any plastic, causing catching issues. I removed all of this flash using nail clippers and the performance improved noticeably. This was pretty easy to do and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to speedsolve this puzzle. Overall, the puzzle loses some points for occasional bad lockups and the clear design flaw of flash on the + centers, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, but this puzzle is really amazing and turns far better than any other gigaminx currently on the market. If you're only interested in casual solving and not speedsolving, I'd just get the Yuxin as it's much cheaper and still turns well enough. For speedsolving, this is absolutely the way to go.

Excellent puzzle

Very well made. I just got it today and have already solved it 4 times. It's a little stiff out of the box so I loosened the screws 1/2 a turn and it seems better now but being a large puzzle the inner layers are still a little snug. If you like big puzzles add this gigaminx from diansheng to the list. The size and weight are great and it is certainly a challenge with solve times comparable to a 9x9 for me.

Travel Gigaminx!

This is more manageable in size compared to my other gigaminx, and the magnets make this puzzle more enjoyable to solve. There is still some minor catching when I start going too quickly and don't fully complete turns, but that's a user issue and not a puzzle issue. Don't try to corner cut and it's fine. This is a great size for tossing in my go bag. At the time of this review, I'd say this is the best mass produced gigaminx on the market.

superior to all & to all is superior

very smooth, love it & if u don't turn accurately u WILL lock up & no one likes that; so turn accurately. Now I patiently wait for the diansheng galaxy teraminx/petaminx

Good puzzle, definitely a good addition to the collection

ok so there’s a few things to cover with this cube:

1. the turning is way better with the magnets, after trying the yuxin gigaminx the magnets definitely help keep the layers aligned right and prevents pops

2. the reverse corner cutting is pretty risky because of the curved edges, but as long as it’s not too far it’s not bad

3. it’s really fun to solve and overall is a really nice turning puzzle (after a few solves though because it’s stiff OOTB)

4. here’s a tip for gigaminxs: when you make the bottom center and the 5 around it make the edges that go to them, it’s a lot easier as you have more free space to turn and is just more efficient. (thanks for the tip Jperm)

Hope this helps! overall it’s a 9.5/10, definitely a good addition to your collection.

very good

this gigaminx is very, and i would definetly recommend it. it turns really smooth after break in. two problems. mine came broken in the box were tons of pieces were sticking out, and i had to put them back in, but it was simple enough. the main problem are the f and u moves. this puzzle is rather small which makes it hard to grip, but the concaveness and the ridges help a lot.
After using it for a bit the f and u moves become much easier. I put mystic and dnm 37 in and it became more smooth with better turning. it was very fun to solve, and was worth the price. 9/10

3.5

I'd give 3.5 points but I can't, so here is 4.
The Yuxin makes my left pinky very tired after one or two solves, very big, heavy and lockups with every second turn.
This gigaminx turns just a little bit smoother, the magnets align the layers more accurately but the size and the weight is the real stuff here. These two make a little difference between the Yuxin and the Diansheng.
I thought its size was gonna make it easier to handle but no. It's too small and I can't turn the layers I want to turn everytime. But while it's smaller and lighter, I can turn the whole puzzle around to find the pieces faster without killing my hands, so it may seems better.

Of course, it lockups much. If you have a lockup, stop the timer, start it again after solving the lockup somehow and put the two (or more) times together, otherwise 50% of your solves will be like +5 minutes for nothing while trying to solve the lockup.

Best Gigaminx On The Market.

After the stickers wore off of my Shengshou Gigaminx, I was looking for a stickerless version. I spent a long time bouncing between this Gigaminx and the Yuxin version. This one was a tad more expensive, but the magnets seemed like such a crucial upgrade that it was worth the extra pay.

And it definitely was. The magnets help keep this puzzle lined up, something which plagues other Gigaminx's out there. It's so easy to control, you can actually speed-solve it. It's light enough that I don't feel the need to set it down at any point in a solve. It's more compact than the other models. The speed is whatever you make it, I've tried both slower lubes and faster ones. The puzzle was just as stable and controllable as either.

TLDR: the extra on the price is worth it. This thing leaves other Gigaminx's in the dust.

I hope we can get a magnetic Teraminx next!

Good, but not great

The moment someone else produces a gigminc with magnets, this will probably be out shown. It satisfying when it doesn't get caught, but I gets caught every six turn or so. It also is a little smaller than I'd choose
