The FangCun 3x3 draws inspiration from other 3x3 cube mechanisms, yet it strikes a good balance between affordability and performance.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

This puzzle is a complete rip off of the DaYan 5 ZhanChi
I guess I just got unlucky. Mine was slow, clicky, snappy, and crunchy out of the box. It felt pretty awful even after modding and changing the hardware. After heavily lubing it with CRC and breaking it in with a drill press it felt a lot better, but still not as good as my modded Zhanchi.
I truly love this cube out of the box the cube is already great but I went on and replaced the hardware and core to dayan then the cube became unbelievably good for an $11 cube it turns so smoothly corner cuts over 45 degrees and does not pop but I wanted to make it even better so I rounded off the corner bases and the edge bases and the cube is now my main along with my aolong this may be a zhanchi KO but the change in plastic makes it a lot better
I purchased this cube from a friend who did a couple mods on it such as a center mod, edge mod, and corner mod. He really doused the cube in shock oil, but I wiped a bit off. It breaks in very nicely as he said and I would definitely recommend getting this cube over the Dayan Zhanchi. But this is a bit subjective whether you would like a easily transformable knockoff, or a the original.
Change core and hardware then put jiga loo in spray alot in and it melts the the plastic just a bit and makes the plastic SOFTER THAN THE OPZ A MUST BUY I BOUGHT ALL THREE STICKERLESS WHITE AND BLACK
So this cube is a knock off of the Dayan Zhanchi, however it is cheaper. It comes in with very loose tensions an your average factory lube. It may or may not come in with a logo on the white side, I got one on my black version but none on my whites. This cube preforms just as well as any Zhachi would. However at first the turning can be a little rugged but breaking in the cube and or sanding down excess flash will solve that problem. Center caps, they do pop like crazy especially during 45 degree corner cuts. To solve this issue simply cut out 3*3 blocks of graph paper and place them under the caps. DO NOT SUPER GLUE THE CAPS DOWN!!! And since the standard springs that come in with this cube ARE in fact a little stiff, if you feel like pitching in the money (which kind of defeats the purpose of a cheaper cube) you can buy Dayan hardware. Still this alternative is cheaper than buying a Dayan Zhanchi which costs $15. So by fixing up a few simple issues this cube can preform just as well as a Dayan Zhanchi and cost much less, it is just up to you if you are the type of person who would buy knock offs.
As good as original plastic zhanchi. Recommend you switch out hardware, mod, and lube and it feels AMAZING. If you like smooth cubes, this is MUCH smoother than the current zhanchi.
Very good Cube. Feels like the Dyan Zhanchi. I cannot confirm that this is a fixer-upper. I ordered two of them and both were just perfect out of the box. It became not my main cube because I prefer the less crunchy cubes.
Pretty bad cube even after modding and switching out the hardware/core. I'd strongly advise to not purchase this cube. Go for the actual Zhanchi (only 2 dollars more) or a Guhong v2/v1. This cube is poorly made and built.
WARNING: This cube is a fixer-upper. When I got the cube out of box, it felt terrible. Despite my doubts, I worked with it for a while, lubing the cube, (weight 5 in the core, weight 2 on the pieces) and replacing the hardware with Dayan hardware. After spending almost two hours improving and stickering the cube, I turned it and was blown away. The cube was far better then any I had already tried. It is much faster and smoother than a zhanchi. I am awarding this cube only 4 stars because the cube can be locky occasionally, and because of the work I had to put into it to make it good.
