The FangCun Freshman Cube draws inspiration from other 3x3 cube mechanisms, yet it strikes a good balance between affordability and performance.

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.
Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

This cube is good for 'freshman'. not good for speedcubers.
This cube is super gummy out of the box! It is good for beginners but for speed solvers it is awful! It is never good! Don't buy this cube!
I would buy another one because it turns so good out of the box it was gummy but after 100 solves it's great and I didn't have any lube on it after and it was amazing
Most of these people said it was a bad cube but I love it
For the price I thought this cube would suck but after solving it again and again its not that bad. Needs work but good
Out of the box, this cube is terrible. Bad corner cutting, sluggish, pops a lot, and overlubed with something that reminds me of low quality Traxxis.
However, if you do a decent amount of work to it, you can get basically a stickerless Gans 356.
Here's what I did:
1. Wipe off lube
2. Replace with Gans core
3. Break it in with 1000 solves
4. Lube with my personal mixture of lube
If you do all of these, you will get a great cube, but would not recommend if you don't want to set it up
well, i did not personally buy this cube, but i tried it at my last competition. it is exactly like a gans 356, but with cheaper plastic, thats why it is so cheap compared to a 356. i rate 3 stars only because since it is a gans 356 knockoff, so if your looking for a cube that is most likely like a gans 356, than this is for you, but, it does only come in stickerless.
I wasn't expecting much when I ordered it but this cube is really nice and different than the other stickerless cubes I've purchased so far. It reminds me a lot of the Yuxin 3x3, especially with the center piece construction, however the color scheme is much better to parse indoors. The most (un?)noticeable thing about this cube is that it is super quiet, which is useful when cubing at work in your cube, if you know what I mean.
Out of the box this cube felt like it did not want to move at all. After putting a few drops of Maru in it, it was a little better. About as smooth as an out of the box Dayan 2x2. It didn't get much better after that. I ended up putting some Traxxas 30k in it and doing 500-1000 solves on it to break in the lube, then I put more Maru in it and it's OK now. Not good, not horrible.
