FangShi GuangYing

This cube is SUPER fast. Out of the box it was very fast,corner cutting was 45 degrees on some sides due to other sides not tensioned evenly. with one flick with my pointer finger the side you flicked goes about 2 and a half way. This is probably one of the fastest cubes i have tried before. Only reason i rate it 4/5 stars is because of the speed...the speed it so fast that some times it causes lock ups which causes increase in times.

The fangshi guanying is a fast but scratchy and loud. When I got it there was hair and bubbles under the stickers. For $15???!! This cube has ok corner cutting but good all around cube for BEGINNERS ONLY for $15 it is horrible quality I would not recommend this cube if anything just get the QiYi Thunderclap. It is $9 and is an amazing cube! GET THE THUNDERCLAP!

Currently my main and doesn't need much lube to get even faster! I love this cube and I love speed. If you want speed and can turn accurately at high TPS, get this cube! It's perfect for your style.

I've heard many great reviews about the Fangshi Guangying, so I decided to get one. It is a huge improvement (in my opinion) over the shuangren and the shuangren v2. Fangshi has pretty much gotten rid of the overly scratchey-sandy feel of the shuangren and the v2, and what's left is fine to me.
The only negative thing I think the guangying has is its corner cutting. The cube has minimal corner cutting, but with its exceptional turning, unless you have a very aggressive turning style I don't think the corner cutting will be a problem.
Right out of the box, it was so light and crispy. It absolutely flew! Definitely my new main, especially after some minimal tensioning.

This seems like an amazing cube and I want it in blue but I am wondering if I have to sticker the cube my self

I'm not a fan of scratchy cubes, but this and the HuaLong are still really impressive to me. The GuanYing was terrible out of the box; super tight, horrible corner cutting, constant catching, etc. When tensioned? Oh, this cube is great! I've yet to lube my GuanYing, as I feel I don't need to; it's an insanely good 3x3, despite the scratchy feel. The speed is ridiculous, and yet it controls moderately. My only real complaints are of the caps; the center caps occasionally loosen and pop off, and so do some edge caps. It also still catches on higher tensions. Aside from that, an amazing and fun cube to solve.

Definitely get this if you like scratchy cubes!

I've had the FangShi GuangYing for almost six months now, however I have only recently started using it as my main. I've been trying to find what type of cube it is I like, and I believe I've figured it out; Light, Crispy, and Fast. These words describe the GuangYing perfectly in my opinion. Out of the box I remember it being extremely light (in terms of turning AND weight) and slightly scratchy. I enjoyed the feeling of the cube, but found it to be extremely tight. I didn't want to lose the feeling it had though, so I kept using it with it's factory tensions, and after a week I found myself not using it too much anymore. I wish I hadn't put it down now though. This cube is extremely fast, and I've recently loosened the tensions and it has fixed the problems of the sub-par corner-cutting, and does a solid 45* and 3/4 reverse. Only problem has been the caps popping off during extreme reverse cutting, however you can glue them in. Great and Unique cube if Light, Crispy, and Fast is your turning style! I haven't had a cube that felt quite like it.

I love the feeling and it is super light and fast which I really like but it took a reeeeeeally long time to tension but I finally got it right it is a step up from the shuang ren

Excellent cube. They definitely fixed the corner twisting problem from the ShuangRen. Still has a hint of the sandy feel that the ShuangRen had, but not as pronounced. I actually like the sandy feel. It's a good cube, although not quite as good as the MoYu AoLong v2 or HuaLong

I just got this cube a few days ago, and at first it was really slow, had no corner cutting, and had a very sandy feel. Halfway through the first solve, this cube began to feel like heaven. After tensioning and a very small amount of lube, this cube got a nice smooth yet slightly crunchy feel, and has excellent corner cutting- reverse and regular, the sticker shades are perfect, and I would recommend this to anyone in the cubing society!
