Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

I got this 1 1/2 years ago but I never wrote a review about it, so here I go!
First of all, because this was my first ever 2x2 I used to think this was pretty good, but I don’t even know how to corner cut or solve the cube back then. But when I did know how to solve one and corner cut one, I corner cutter the 2x2 and it can’t even do 45 degrees. The turning is also a bit slow. I haven’t gotten the V2 yet but I hope I do soon!
This is the best cube ive ever tried!
This cube is great for an beginner to intermediate cuber because of its smooth fell and it's nice turning. The cube U2's great and has a gripy feel even when you have sweaty hands. I setup my cube with lubicle 1 and it's amazing. Overall a great cube!
This is supposed to be my new 2x2 ever since my weipo that popped tooo much
so I decided to get this and out of the box like many said, quite sandy but when i threw in some dnm 37 and gans lube it became magical and ever since I fell in love once again a great job by Gans!!
Out of the box, this cube is pretty sandy and does not corner cut very well. But, as soon as I set it up (added Lubicle-1 on hardware and DNM-37 on the pieces+tensioning), this cube is pretty main worthy and is my current main.
This cube provided everything I expected. It turns very well and isn't slow at all.
I think that this 2x2 is awesome. Gans really did a good job. I got to try this cube at a competition and the text was really good. I just want to keep on solving it. One problem is the size. It is 49 mm instead the of 50 mm but all you need to do is get used to get. I really do recommend this cube to everyone. It is one of the best
Doesn't live up to the hype at all. Very sandy and slow out of the box, I don't really recommend unless you want a neat and fun Gan 2x2. I tried to lube it, and it improved just a little bit. I really don't like this 2x2.
If you want to buy a 2x2, this should be your choice! It is soft not loud, all you need for a good 2x2. Corner cutting is good for this cube.
This cube isn't bad. I know that many people think it is, and I can see why, but really, I don't hate the cube. I agree, it is too small and barely corner cuts at all, but I think that there are good aspects too. The GES nuts I'm sure will allow some freedom for setting up your cube when they release some for this puzzle (since the 3 by 3 ones will not work in this). Also, tensioning is very easy, and I have never had a pop or corner twist.
I haven't tried the magnetized version yet, but am excited to do so soon.
