Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

This cube is FAST out of the box, I lubed it with some DNM-37 and it was instantly my main. It rarely overturns, which helped me cut my average times from 15 seconds to about 8-9 seconds. Would recommend, had it still be produced and sold. RIP Gan 249
im not that great at 2x2 but when I bought this cube a few years ago I just wanted something that worked and wouldn't need to be replaced, ive done hundred of solves averaging between 5-7 seconds and its still working perfect, I didn't do much set up just a bit of lube but if you want a good 2x2 I think it is worth it
I played with the tensions and then turned the cube and it litteraly exploded. Also magnets are weak, wouldn’t recommend.
GAN 249 V2 M
Nice cube, but doesn't turn smooth like our other GAN. It is very bumpy/Clicky when turning.
First ever 2x2. Out of the box it feels pretty good. Not the best cube I've ever felt personally but it still feels good to solve.
This is my only 2x2 and it is decent.
It gets a few too many catches for my liking.
Good cube smooth and stability but lock ups every 20 turns
it is so good
Honestly the honey comb design in this cube is actually nice, it gives the cube a distinct feel that for me is satisfying. one bad thing about this cube is that it is way too small, even with the smallest hands in the world this cube would be impossible to main due to the small size. Another bad thing about this cube is the lack of magnet strength, I feel like if you are going to get a cube with magnets stick to the cubicle premium service because most magnets that are added by the company who produces the cube are useless, and way too weak. Although this cube is decent, it can’t compete to the other cubes like the Valk 2m or the yj mgc or even any cubicle premium 2x2. I would not get this cube to main it and only if you are a big gan fan or you want a big collection.
