Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

it is so smooth that i could not even hear a sound when i turn it slowly
This cube came out of the package with an issue. This cube had a couple of corner pieces that had magnets that protruded where the other corners were slightly sunk in. When turning these corner pieces, they catch the edge piece and momentarily stop the side from turning. The magnets that protruded did not do so by much but enough to catch the holes that the edge piece magnets enter and exit. I tried the null capsules to make sure that it was not a magnet issue and still had the same problem. This has been returned.
This replaced my 354 and it is amazing! Ootb it is very fast, so I tightened it and added traxxas, and sure enough, I brought my averages down a few seconds! Highly reccomend!
Received this cube a week ago or so. First - I'm not a speed cuber, still takes me a minute or so, but I'm getting better. I just wanted a cube that had a good feel and this is it. I have two others, but this one is the best by far. It came with the strongest magnets installed, and I left those in. Set travel distance to min and tension to max. This has the best feel to me and seems very stable. I love the sticker-less option. Other GAN I have has stickers that are already getting ragged after 3 months.
I had high expectations when I order this cube but it is worse than my old MF3RS2M. Ok the cube is very fast and the turning is smooth compared to MF3RS2M but no matter what settings I use, the lock ups are drives me crazy. If I loosen up the springs, cube can not be controlled anyways and it locks up a lot. If I tighten the springs, there is no such thing as corner cutting.
So i own the XS and the XV2 and honestly neither one is really better than the other. If you like a slightly slower, smoother feeling, then get the XV2. If you'd prefer faster and crunchier, then the XS is probably better. The XV2 feels like the turns are heavier and and carry more weight, while the XS feels more effortless. I average around ~15 seconds and main the XS though either is recommendable.
This cube is very good had some factory lube in it, but I do suggest that get some lube to have that amazing feel. OOTB this cube felt very fast, and the magnets were on strong, they were weaker than a gan air m, but it was still very good, I choose a slightly loose setting and a medium strength magnets, something I immediately noticed was how light it was, it has the same core as the XS. Tl;Dr This is a great cube, very light, very airy and smooth, overall just a great cube.
Essentially, this cube feels almost identical to the 356 M. It is not as gummy and buttery smooth as the original X, it rather is more papery smooth and airy. If you have the 356 M, 354 v2 M or RS, it feels VERY similar to those cubes, maybe slightly better. I think that the only reason you should get this cube is if you want a 356 M with customizable magnets and a better tensioning system. If you aren't too picky and like medium magnets, there is no reason to buy this cube just get the 356 M. However, if you really want those stronger magnets and the tensioning system from the XS, then I guess this cube is worth it. It certainly isn't bad, but probably get the XS instead if you don't mind a more crunchier feel.
Was it worth it?
In my opinion, it is was worth it. I was really considering getting the GAN XS but decided on the X V2 instead. This cube is really great. Right out of the box I can tell it has some GAN lube already applied which was very unexpected and it helped the cube get broken and stay very quiet. After setting it up to my likings I found that the green magnets are the best for me since I don't like to be held back a lot when cubing. I noticed one thing when i started to do an ao100. The cube wasn't fully broken in yet so the magnets would get caught on very small edges and the corner magnets but after 100+ solves everything got a lot better. Overall this cube is really great. If you like almost endless customization then I would defiantly recommend this cube. This is one of the cheapest cubes with the most customization.
I have had this cube since December and it took me a month to get back to my normal times. I believe this is in part, due to the fact that I had been maining a Moyu GTS3 M for a year, so I had developed a rough turning style and picked up habits that you really need to get rid of if you’ve been using a cube that requires a bit more force in turning. I’ve broken, matched, and broken agin all of my averages and have been less than half a second from my best single. This cube is great. Just know you are going to have to change your turning style if you’re coming from something like a Valk or GTS type of cube.
