Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

I have three of these and they're pretty, pretty difficult. I have a white egg I'd purchased years ago and I still have not solved that one. I was playing with the purple one I purchased and as I was turning it I noticed that it was difficult to turn. I was simply putting on the checkerboard pattern on the egg, this is what I like to do with cubes that are solved because I think it looks cool. I then had a hard time turning it and as I maneuvered my hands back to turn the egg back upside down I realize the reason it was difficult to turn is that there were two pieces that have been broken inside and they fell out. these are small pieces and the Egg still functions and I can still turn it but now I'm afraid to even attempt moving quickly with it. it's unfortunate that these have been clearanced out because I would still like to add to my collection, perhaps one day don't come back.
Turns well but has a problem with popping. Caps are not secured very well at all, but they're all on the inside so it doesn't effect the look of the puzzle. Has a lot of strange symmetries and 2 corners with identical orientations, making it an extremely difficult solve. Not recommended for beginners or novices.
To solve, I took it apart and reassembled it. That took at least 10 minutes. I am not sure if I will ever solve it the correct way. The pieces are just too similar and shiny. It is not fun for me, but that isn't the puzzle's fault.
