Our Promise to You
All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.
Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

The cube has decent turning for a mod but it feels a little weird to solve.
I enjoy how this cube looks with my other mfjs puzzles, and this got me my first video over 1000 view on YouTube! Go to Learn_The_Cube to watch the whole thing. This is also without a doubt my favorite puzzle to solve. Not too long, fun to find the right pieces, and looks impressive too! I have however tried the YJ stickered one, and I have to say, if you're going for speedsolving, that one is better and won't turn corners when turning fast.
Comes dry but wants to move, no need to lube it at all !
This Axis Cube is really really smooth, and have a bit of a sandy feel to it right out of the box. The shades are great, I don't have any trouble on tracking pieces. Haven't had catches in any of my solves. I recommend it, it's a nice cube for beginners that want to get into shape shifting puzzles !
the puzzle turns well, and is fun to solve. But, the spring noise is annoying.
A fun stepping stone to the ghost cube, it is the same as a 3x3, but with different shaped pieces. The only difference is the center prices need to be rotated to the correct orientation. Additionally, corner cutting is good, turns smoothly with little resistance. After a few solves, it gets easier to turn, mostly because it takes practice to turn at all. For the cheap price, why not tag this on to your next order?
Me: "Oh it's just another 3x3 mod, like the mirror cube. Quick scramble, here we go..."
Me (Three days later) : "What's going on!? I don't know who I am anymore!"
(TL/DR : It turns great, shades are awesome-beautiful; stickerless is a blessing)
It is initially confusing (read: took me 2 and a half days) to wrap your head around the fact that there are not three, but four kinds of pieces (Center, edge, corner, and edge/corner hybrid) and that the centers will probably need to get re-oriented.
The turns are smooth, but have a very subtle click when sliding into alignment. This security is important in a shape-mod, since it is easy to lose track of piece and orientation if the faces are spinning all over the place (Kids! Uncle Johnny says Never over-lube your shape mod!)
Bright/half-bright (?) but not harsh colors add to the experience (not everyone likes guacamole green, or pepto-bismol pink in their puzzle, so I was thankful not to have to stare at any painful colors). Mild, but still excellent contrast and recognition.
I took this thing *everywhere* , so luckily there were no stickers to peel or get dirty over time-- a quick pass with a bandanna/ edge of the shirt, and you're good to go.
MFJS consistently makes really great budget puzzles, this is a very safe buy.
I had more than 50 puzzles in my collection before I got an axis cube. I'm glad I waited because Mofang Jioshi lived up to there name by producing yet another high quality cheap cube. This cube turns well and is a great challenge without being as stressful as a ghost cube. Overall I would buy again and hope MFJS keeps making more non-wca puzzles.
