Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

This is a really fun puzzle, the caps pop and if you out them back in the posts that hold them in can brake
I've got an ever-growing collection of transparent cubes, I think this is #8. I understand that the plastic material used for these transparent cubes is not the ideal choice for smooth and speedy moves. This unique barrel shape mod does shape shift a little, which can be intimidating, especially with the transparent version.
Cube lube will certainly help, perhaps required with a little loosening.
Overall, I'm pleased with this puzzle. Also, I agree with Andy's review of the transparent version, check it out just below this review.
I got the transparent version. Right away I was unhappy with the turning. It was resistant to turning, and I found it practically unusable until copious amounts of lube were added. Once lubed and broken in a little, it became more pleasurable to solve. It catches and locks like crazy, but that seems to be the case with just about any version of the Redi Cube, so I won't that against this one. There end up being multiple valid solutions to this puzzle, since nothing prevents you from getting it "solved" with the color pattern mirrored.
This is a very cool looking puzzle, though. Definitely something that makes an interesting addition to a collection, and a puzzle that can be solved intuitively, in case you're tired of algorithms.
The puzzle in itself is pretty good, the shades are great and the barrel design is cool, but I experience a lot of catching. This thing has little to no forgiveness, you have to align the pieces really correctly if you want to make the next turn. If you're not paying attention some pieces can sort of pop.
But if you're cautious, I strongly recommend this puzzle, it is very fun to solve !
this is a very fun puzzle and is a different twist on the redi cube and is halve the price. it turns smoothly and wile it locked a little out of the box a little lube and adjusting can go a long way. it is pretty easy to solve and doesn't require algorithms. i highly recommend getting this puzzle.
This cube one of the best I have, the moving of the cube is AMAZING!!! The one problem is the brightness of the yellow other wise top 5 cube out of my 55
