Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

Love how small this cube is, it was the smallest on the site when I bought it and it's a pleasure to use. The shengshou 9x9 I had was so huge and heavy it was a pain to solve but this one is wonderful.
I love the meilong 9x9 it is great the turning is smooth and on the faster so de for the first 3 layers the fourth layer is a little slow but very manageable. Not to mention the size the size is a little bit bigger than my MGC 7x7 with is very small, the cube does up a bit and is not very flexible. In the end for thirty five dollars this is a very good buy.
Out of the box this cube was extremely stiff and uncomfortable to turn. After applying some light lubricant it turns much better, but I don't think I'd be able to do any finger tricks or corner cut on this cube. Overall, it's a decent price for a 9x9x9, but don't buy this expecting it to feel like a speedcube out of the box.
out of the box turning is very slow making flicks impossible even on outer layers. even after I lubed it liberally with DNM37 and solved it it was very stiff and took a lot longer than it should have, the cube is screwed together very tightly and has next to no leeway. no problems with construction but it's just too slow and hard to use. maybe good for beginners or people with small hands.
I really enjoy this cube. Had to break it in with a few solves for it to smooth out, but I highly recommend it. Only four out of five because I've gotten a few pops, but they were not permanently damaging to the puzzle.
I am giving this cube 5 stars in order to offset the bad reviews written here. So far I've solved it about 20 times without a single pop. Lockups do happen, but for a budget cube this is to be expected. If you make sure your layers are relatively lined up, you shouldn't have any issues.
After some lube (Speedy and DNM) this this is super smooth, quiet and buttery in turning. The inner layers seem to be a little tighter than the outer ones but this is not a major issue. If you are not a speed cuber and have smaller hands this will be the perfect big cube for you. And at 74mm it's very comfortable for solves.
If this came out in a magnet version, I'd get it again. I gotta say, I really like this cube!
It was definitely a little underwhelming it is really slow and pops a lot and feels really cheap but i must say for the price its not to bad.
All wonderful toys! Very happy with them all!
Occasional popping, but good feel to it. Probably wouldn’t recommend for speedcubing, but perfect as just a puzzle.
I've solved the cube a few times by now, and I'm glad with its performance. The cube's small size compared to most 9x9's makes it portable enough to use anywhere, and the turning quality is fantastic considering how many moving parts are in that space. The only thing I have to be careful of is not attempting to corner-cut too far which has caused a lockup and a pop, but both of these issues were fixed with relative ease.
