Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

Bought this and wanted to do a checkerboard pattern and while trying to do this 2 pieces popped out and as I tried to put them back in the leg of one of the pieces broke off and is not useable anymore. Another thing that was holding it back was how stiff the turning was because it was super tight making it hard to turn.
I really enjoyed this puzzle. the turning is pretty bad out of the box, but just loosen it up and break it in a little, and bam! you have a great 9x9.
This is my first 9x9. I have to say it is solid. I love big cubes. I just conquered the terraminx recently so I was looking for something a little less cumbersome but bigger than 7x7. I put some dnm-37 in this bad boy and it turns like a dream. Highly recommend. It is big so you have to be pretty precise with your turning, but I have had very few bad lock ups.
pretty small, does pop but it is my first 9x9 so pretty good
Love how small this cube is, it was the smallest on the site when I bought it and it's a pleasure to use. The shengshou 9x9 I had was so huge and heavy it was a pain to solve but this one is wonderful.
I love the meilong 9x9 it is great the turning is smooth and on the faster so de for the first 3 layers the fourth layer is a little slow but very manageable. Not to mention the size the size is a little bit bigger than my MGC 7x7 with is very small, the cube does up a bit and is not very flexible. In the end for thirty five dollars this is a very good buy.
Out of the box this cube was extremely stiff and uncomfortable to turn. After applying some light lubricant it turns much better, but I don't think I'd be able to do any finger tricks or corner cut on this cube. Overall, it's a decent price for a 9x9x9, but don't buy this expecting it to feel like a speedcube out of the box.
out of the box turning is very slow making flicks impossible even on outer layers. even after I lubed it liberally with DNM37 and solved it it was very stiff and took a lot longer than it should have, the cube is screwed together very tightly and has next to no leeway. no problems with construction but it's just too slow and hard to use. maybe good for beginners or people with small hands.
I really enjoy this cube. Had to break it in with a few solves for it to smooth out, but I highly recommend it. Only four out of five because I've gotten a few pops, but they were not permanently damaging to the puzzle.
