Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

When I was just playing with the mf5s, the thing decided to quit on me and pop. I decided to start anew and take out all pieces and put them back together. When I tried, it was so slippery. It would not stay in place. I don't know about others, but for me, my experience was bad. Feel free to dislike if you disagree.
I think the 5x5 is a good turning puzzle apart from the corner cutting is terrible. but it is a great cube for beginners.
This was my second 5x5 (the first was a V-Cube 5). I’d ordered this cube with the pro shop lube. OOTB, it’s pretty slow on all layers. Once broken in, the cube is faster but still relatively slow. The feeling is overall smooth, well more of a bumpy smooth. My biggest gripe is with the catches. It does occasionally catch, but controlling the cube more will reduce the catches. For $11 and the extra cost of lube, I do recommend this for beginners. I’m not sure I recommend this for intermediates though. The cube will replace my V-Cube.
This was my first 5x5, and for only 11 dollars, dang. Out of the box it is sandy and locks up. After lube and tensioning (moderate tensions with DNM-37) it is great. I personally love solving 5x5 now, and man it is good. It is now very smooth and algorithims flow very smoothly. I am currently working on a review of this puzzle for my channel. (exactly what the reviewer name is if you want to check it out.) That is why I gave it 5 stars! âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ From information I have heard it is a competitor for most expensive 5x5s.
This is a very smooth 5x5, but no corner cutting what so ever. I used Maru and Traxxas 500k (yes 500, not 50) on it and it is still a fun puzzle to solve from time to time. Stickers are very high quality, only one of them has been peeling, but that is an outlier compared to my friend's MF5S puzzle.
This cube OotB was amazingly smooth. I decided to put some Silk in there so it will be smoother, and it turned into a Smooth plate! I was so shocked by how smooth it was, i never wanted to put it down. No i'm depressed because i have to type this.
I wasn't expecting this cube to good because it's a budget cube and we all know budget cubes aren't the best speed cubes but this one is just absolutely amazing
Pretty good out of the box. I had 1 pop. I've had it around 1 month. So that is good. Other than that it is really good. It is good for people who get 1-3 minutes. I can't solve it so it is good for me.
My Yuxin broke on me recently and, not having much of a budget to work with at the moment, decided to go for the MF5S as a temporary replacement. This is a GREAT 5x5 for the price. OOTB It's got that nice, smooth, crispy feeling that you get with most Moyu/sub-brand puzzles and corner-cutting is on par with the top tier 5x5's on the market. Good tensions for my turning style OOTB, and a little bit of Cubicle Weight 3 will go a long way, I'm sure. Overall, I definitely recommend this cube to those wanting to get into 5x5 and don't want to break the bank. It's not a main killer, but it's still worth checking out.
It is a good begginer cube, but there are better options for less! I wouldn't recommend this cube other than collection or possibly modding purposes
