This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces.
This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts
which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by
corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

When I saw this MoreTry cube with the special edition black colorway variant I thought why not see what MoreTry has to offer in a cube. The cube is 55mm, weighs 81g, has maglev and an 8-magnet ball core. The core is a 3D printed ball core with metal rods. It seems very durable.
Aesthetically, I think the black side look great. MoreTry supplies black pieces to swap whichever face you like. I swapped black for yellow. I found that I could hardly stand solving on it though, as it completely nerfed my recognition (I'm not CN, however). I ended up swapping back to yellow - go figure.
Overall the cube was dry and papery out of the box and the magnets were very strong. For reference, I really like the V11 and SWV2 (lightest) magnet strength. This is considerably stronger than that, making it stronger than ideal for me (initially). However... after doing an ao100 I found that I actually LOVED them.
Setting it up greatly improved the turning feel. My setup is tension 1 of 9, center travel tightened by 3/4 turn. Pilube 10k on a corner foot, Pilube yellow on an edge piece and corner foot, Pilube red/green on the contact surfaces.
The finish is glossy, not UV. Grip is really great of course. After swapping for the black pieces, I noticed that the magnets were quite loose, making it surprisingly clicky and unappealing. To my surprise, I probably caused the issue myself because I didn't notice that the magnets must be oriented properly when placing them back into the corner pieces. If you don't pay attention to this, there WILL be excessive magnet noise after your swap!
When solving on this cube, I initially found myself constantly overshooting turns because of the turn momentum and strong magnets. This is still taking time to adjust to. However, the turning is FAST. All I have to do is look at it and it does a U2, even after tightening it. That's what I want. After experimenting with setup, I was able to find a feel that I enjoy from it. It's quite loose out of the box, but after tightening it up a bit, it's much more to my liking. Surprisingly, corner cutting is still excellent even after tightening.
Overall, I think this is surprisingly a fantastic cube, especially for the price point.
I actually cannot believe how my opinion has changed from my out of the box impression to how I feel after an ao100. I actually may main this cube. I'll give it around 500-1000 solves before deciding.
For context, my main right now is the Super Weilong V2. However, after only 100 solves with the MoreTry I got a PB single, ao5, ao12, ao50 and ao100.
The Dayan Guhong Pro+ is the biggest competition for this puzzle at this price point, but as of today I actually prefer the MoreTry! This is absolutely better than the Hudong, too.

I mostly wanted this cube for its black side. Swapping the black pieces on was a very frustrating process. The cube is pretty tightly put together, and there’s no instructions included for piece disassembly. I had to use an exacto knife to pry the pieces open gently. I almost lost magnets several times because they aren’t glued to anything, but just kind of sandwiched between the face caps.
Which brings me to my other issue - the magnets are so noisy and loose. This is the worst sounding cube I have ever used because of the magnet noise. At first I thought the cube was unusable for me because the sound as so unpleasant. Lubing helped with some of the overall loudness, but the magnets are always clicking and squeaking.
All that said, after using it a few days, noise aside, the cube actually has really great performance. The auto alignment is exceptional, the magnets overall give it a strong tactile feel. Slices are perfect and effortless. Corner cutting is decent but i catch sometimes. Not exactly the smoothest mechanism, but very capable of good speed and very controllable.
I would say it’s 3.5/5 for me. Could be 5/5 if you really don’t care about sound quality or swapping optional black pieces.
Update: this cube performs so well that I am overlooking the sound problem. It actually doesn’t feel as cheap to me now that I’ve lived with it a few days. I also very much appreciate this glossy finish, almost seems UV coated. Excellent cube for the price. Not perfect, but its a main for me now
