The RS2 M Evolution is a an updated version of the RS2 M. This new design features a dual adjustment tension/compression system, an updated mechanism with better anti-pop features, and slots for the magnets to make sure they're always aligned.
Please note that the fixed corner on this puzzle is random from the manufacturer. If you twist this corner, it will make your cube unusable.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Literally the only thing I can say is that it is smooth! Both literally since the piece has no weird bumps on them and it's just smooth. The dual adjustment system is also very neat and I have already found some setting to be better than others. I might say that this is a bit better than the GAN 249
coming from a person who is top 1000 for 2x2, i can tell you that this is not the 2x2 for you. The mgc is a much cube for this price and the mgc2 elite is possibly the next best 2x2 compared to the valk. I hate this cube so much i buried it.
This just arrived today and it broke in less than 10 minutes. Looks like this is a regular thing as posted by others here.
This cube is not as heavy as the Rs3m, it doesn't have the greatest corner cutting but still pretty good. It is smooth and slick, but it never falls out of your hands, I'd recommend loosening it though.
So, mind you, I’m not a high-level 2x2 solver by any means, but my previous 2x2s were an Eastsheen from like, 2009ish and a non-magnetic Qiyi 2x2. Compared to those, being not only magnetic but also have an elasticity adjustment setting made getting this a no-brainer. The turning feel and corner cutting are nice, and within a few minutes of breaking in and playing with the elasticity settings, I was able to get solves around 5 seconds (again, mind you, I don’t know Ortega or anything, I just use CFOP). All that being to say, for the very reasonable price, it’s definitely worth it. Might make me actually work on 2x2, haha.

I had the Gan 251 M Air and this is so much better. It doesn't catch as much and has a better adjustment system. And IT'S CHEAPER! Highly recommended.
HOLY CRAP. THIS THING IS NO JOKE, BETTER THAN THE GAN 2X2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND IT IS $30 CHEAPER. BUY THIS R I G H T N O W!!!!!!!!!!
I got this 2x2 because I needed a backup/warmup cube for my comps. I heard it was a great cube for the price and thought that this was the best option because my budget was pretty tight. When it finally arrived in the mail the cube's yellow, blue, and orange corner was wobbling a lot more than it was supposed to. As I took a closer look at the piece the internal tracks of the cube had an unbearable amount of stress on it. while I was looking at the corner piece the whole thing just snapped and the tracks and stem of the internal piece was dislocated from the actual corner piece. I hoped for a nice smooth and fast 2x2 but what came in the mail was just a broken 2x2. I'm pretty sure i am the only person who got a defective/broken moyu rs2m and I hope this never happens to anyone else. :(

it's not a bad cube don't get me wrong. it's just a little bit slow out the box and feels really tight. honestly if you can afford the weipo wrs, get that. it's much better in my opinion
