The MoYu WeiLong features a different internal design that makes it smoother and less clicky than the MoYu HuanYing.
Note: As of December 12, 2013, the Black WeiLong DIY Kit now comes assembled but with the stickers on the side.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Why does the DIY Kit cost more than the Assembled version?
The DIY Kit contains many small and loose parts, so it requires additional labor compared to Assembled cubes, including screening them for missing, incorrect, or broken parts and providing after-sale service. Unfortunately, due to the extra labor and costs associated with maintaining a high level of quality in our DIY Kits, we must charge a little more for the DIY Kits than for the Assembled cubes.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Payed extra for the DIY kit, so I could tension it and modify it the way I like it. Cube is great, although the package was missing some components that would have been nice to have. No MoYu logo sticker, and not even the box for the cube! Overall a good cube, but those two things would have made it complete.
This cube has replaced my Fangshi with ease. It is extremely smooth and corner cuts well. I think I know a way to mod this cube to make it better, but for me, it is easily one of the best I have ever used un-modded. This cube is extremely fast, so it is not for people who do not get at least sub 20 solves. I could tell that the hardware was a bit cheap, however, I still got it to a nice tension. This cube does not pop and is very nice. I highly recommend lubing it, or else it is extremely noisy and not as smooth. (The core is most important part)
This cube is easily the best one I've ever owned.
Personally it's a bit too fast for me, even with the core being the only part lubed.
I've nicknamed it "The Frankencube" because it's sort of a mix between some of the best cubes on the market.
The anti-popping mechanism is very similar to the Shuang Ren in that the edges have large "wings" that hook under the adjacent centers, as well as parts of the corners and edges that flare out and hook into each other.
The edges also have the ZhanChi torpedo-style anchors just like the ones in the Huan Ying.
The shape of the pieces themselves is a mix between the Shuang Ren and the Zhanchi, and the edges have tracks like those that can be found on a ShengShou Feng (Wind) 3x3.
This cube is very smooth, although not smooth like a Feng; it's a unique smoothness. It sounds very much like a ZhanChi when speedsolving.
It can corner cut 45 degrees quite easily even at extremely tight tensions and no lube on the pieces.
Reverse corner cutting is easily 2/3 of a cubie.
At the right tensions and with the proper lubing there are no catches or lock-ups, and the cube has never popped on me once.
I average about 18 seconds on this cube, but again, it is too fast for me; this is easily a sub-10 average cube.
Overall excellent fairly-priced cube that is well worth it.
This cube is very smooth and very fast. The only issue i had was tensioning, even on the tightest tension the cube felt sloppy. I changed the springs to dayan springs which made a huge difference for me. I am able to tension it perfectly now. This is now in my top three for 3 x 3.
