The MoYu WeiLong V2 is the second version of the tremendously popular MoYu WeiLong. The most notable change is the way in which the pieces are put together, which allows stickerless variants to be produced. Other than this, the mechanism remains largely unchanged.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

this was my first ever speed cube and even though i didn't set it up correctly it was very smooth and the corner cuting was decent, but if you lube it and tension it correctly it has great potential.
Even though it is a bit old it still holds up
It's a decent cube, but nothing spectacular. Back when I got it, I was upgrading from a Shengshou Wind, so it felt spectacular, but soon after a friend gave me a Gans 356SV2, and that cube blew this one out of the water. This cube is very unstable. When you hold it in your hands, it just wants to move, and won't hold a cubic shape very well. The corner cutting isn't too great, and the corner catches on the center for reverse. I tried many different tensions, and none of them can make this cube corner cut 45 degrees. The plastic is very soft, which contributes to a more pillowy feeling and a hollow sound. I see no reason to buy this cube in 2017 unless its for collection purposes.
I did not buy this myself i used my friends, and it had a nice crispy yet smooth feel to it while turning, its quite fast and will not pop. i had no corner twisting problems and the cube was all around great the two things i did not like were that the tensions were all different, one side was really stiff, the other was too loose, and the other was fine, but it was only a bad one as he got two and the other was just fine, that is why i took away a star. the other thing is the sticker shades but that's what i think. But with a little bit of lubing it will be great. (i used traxxas 30k for pieces with a little DNM-37) long story short, it is a great cube buy it.
This cube is really smooth. Lube it JRCuber style with traxxas 50k and it will be amazing. Just a little to speedy for me
So after all these new amazing three by three's have hit the market, I still have to give the edge to the WeiLong V2 reason being, the new cubes in all honesty aren't really much better, this cube was the beginning of all the new releases but to me it's still the best one out there. With your now standard corner cutting of 45 degrees and very controllable speed it's good for beginners and pros. It's even won world records! That alone is just a testament to how good this cube is. Your time is only as good as how much work you put into it. Getting the latest and greatest won't really make you any faster. I have stopped looking into three by threes since I got this cube. It's buttery smooth and yet speedy and clunky feel fits my style. Out of the box it's a little scratchy like a fangshi but after a few hundred solves it''s completely smooth. The white ones tend to be smoother than the black ones in my opinion. Highly recommend this cube if you have the cash to spare. Hoped this review helped.
I got this puzzle and it was amazing out of the box it could corner cut 45 and i got my 7.058 pb everyone should have this puzzle
To clear things up, I dont own this cube, My friend does. Anyways this WeiLong was smooth and moderately fast. After he put Maru Lube in it, it was like a cubers dream. This was so much better than my Dayan Zanchi that I think I might switch. But the hype didnt last long... One of the corner pieces broke... :(
Overall... This is a really good cube. I really recommend this!
Out of the box this cube was dry and very fast, faster than my Gans 356. I like the weight of this cube, feels about as heavy as an Aolong V2. There was initial spring noise, but that was easily fixed with lube. I am very satisfied with the overall quality of the cube, I felt like I got my monies worth. I have a tendency to over correct on my solves and I believe this cube will be a helpful tool in learning small moves and soft hands.
This cube is my first white cube( that sounds racist doesn't it?) and I just loved it. I got my first thirty on it, and it remains my backup main. It has one fatal flaw for me, the center caps pop off, a lot. I lost the orange center cap and I'm sad about that. Overall this is a very nice cube.
The Moyu Weilong v2 is very popular. The corners have a 3 piece assembly instead of the 2 piece assembly from the Weilong v1. The turning is buttery smooth. When i turn slowly it has a bumpy feel to it, but when i turn fast it's buttery smooth. The turning is a lot more different than the Weilong v1. The Weilong v1 features more of a clicky and fast feel. Corner cutting on this cube is on par with the other modern cubes which is more than 45 degrees. Reverse corner cutting is also on par with other modern speedcubes which is 3/4's of a piece. The stickers are stock Moyu shades...unless you get the stickerless version of this cube which has no stickers. Overall i totally recommend the Moyu Weilong v2. It was my main for a very long time.
