The QiYi MoFangGe 5x5 is a 64mm 5x5. It turns smoothly right out of the box, and it features outer edges that are just a tiny bit longer than the inner pieces.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

I have had this cube for roughly a year and it has gone from what I felt was amazing to be crazy slow. It is a very good cube for beginners which is why I am sad that it got discontinued. The main problem with the cube is that it pops very easily. If you turn sloppily this cube is not for you.
So out of the box, it's kind of sluggish. The inner layers are oddly faster than the outer layers, and even with some lube it's still slow. It pops and locks up in weird places, and overall just okay for a first 5x5. Probably just get the Qiyi QiZheng S. It's $9 and much better than this according to the reviews.
I've had it for about half a year and it still turns smooth as butter! I have the sticker-less version and it's great for beginners like me. It's got a pleasant color scheme, although sometimes I confuse yellow with orange in certain lighting.
I like the feel of this. It's only popped once when a kid I lent it to was playing with it too rough. Not too hard to put back in the piece. It's the same size as a 3x3 but heavier. I like it better than my 6x6 which is a bit too tight and tiring to turn.
Not very good corner cutting (about 1 piece). If you try to go any farther, one of the inner corners on the top layer will come out. Turning feels very smooth but also very slow. It is so slow that doing finger tricks for too long will hurt your fingers. Also, a note to all non cubers: THIS IS NOT A 10X10!
this cube is nice and feels like a qiyi thunderclap 5x5 the v-cube mechanism makes it turn very nice
this cube does pop but is good for beginners like me
This is a good cube. I am very surprised at the turning quality of this cube it is very smooth and controllable. Even with these great qualities this cube does lock up on any tension and quite frequently pops but it's only the inner corner pieces. Overall this is a great starter cube for people just getting into 5x5 and the higher order cube would recommend for new 5x5 solvers but wouldn't recommend for speed solving
I got this as my first 5x5, and even after comparing it to other 5x5's I love it. It has popped once when my friend who is an aggressive turner tried to corner cut too far, but I've never had it pop on me. I haven't played with the tensions because they came nearly perfect.
My only problems with this cube are that it locks up a lot and it also pops if the tension is not tight. Otherwise, it is a very good cube that turns very well.
