Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Very nice 9x9!

This review might not say Verified Purchase because I got it as a Christmas present, but anyways I really like how small it is. It's not too big to handle. The shades are a little strange to start but you get used to them. I would recommend some loosening. It's really slow and rough at first but with some loosening and break in it turns really well. If you've ever tried the X-man spark 7x7, it kind of feels like that.

It works pretty well! My first 9x9, and it was a pretty good experience. A little gritty at first, but breaks in pretty quickly and is smooth sailing from then on.

An incredible, well-made cube!

It is relaxing to kick back, scramble, and solve it for an hour or two. It turns reasonably well and feels sturdy. It is also large enough to make detailed logos, icons, and other imagery. This puzzle is a definite recommendation to anyone who loves the past time of solving twisty puzzles.

GARBAGE! AVOID! TURNING IS TERRIBLE EVEN AFTER LUBRICAN!

Avoid this AWFUL cube. It's a nightmare to turn and thus solve. It really is exhausting for my hands and wrists. I was hoping that some lubricant and adequate break-in would help it out. But even after applying the lubricant and and solving it over ten times, the cube is still a nightmare. I'm so disappointed with it.

I got a Qiyi 7x7 in the same order with this cube. I opened the 7x7 and found it to be really incredible. So I was psyched to open the 9x9, assuming it would be of the same quality. But then came the big disappointment. The Qiyi 7x7 and 9x9 aren't remotely comparable. They look the same. But they don't function the same at all. Do get the 7x7 Qiyi. But do ABSOLUTELY avoid this Qiyi 9x9. Just take the money you'd spend on this and put it towards the magnetized Diansheng 9x9. This cube also pops easily and reinserting any of the pieces is not a simple task. So just avoid it altogether and save yourself the needless hassle. You'll be glad you did! It's basically a useless paperweight that will soon hit the trash.

TERRIBLE

This cube fell into pieces as I took it out of the box. (I sent it back I received a full refund.) Even though the Cubicle made things right, I still don't recommend this cube.

Great 9x9!

Really nice 9x9! Obviously, since it is a big, non-magnetic cube the turning is not super fast, but it is definitely better than most. To add to the collection, this is a great cube and I highly recommend!
