Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

I bought this in December 2018. I use the bag when I got to small events like parties and competitions. However, it's not for cubing.
First, the bag has 5 places to store items. Two of them are great for laptops and their accessories. They are secured by one Velcro strap. One is on the outside and another is on the inside, both being secured by strap. Finally, you have the main space on the inside to store everything else you want. Holding the bag is very comfortable because of many mesh pads on the back and straps of the backpack.
But why isn't it a good cubing bag? Well, the Qiyi Backpack doesn't feature any compartments that suit cubes like cubing bags they've made before. For example, the Moyu cubing bag features compartments to secure cubes, lubes, and other accessories like screwdrivers. The Qiyi Backpack has none of these, although you can utilize each compartment to make it as if it does.
If you need a place to throw all of your cubes in or carry a laptop or camera in for a competition, this is a good bag. You can also look into any other backpack with more/better compartments. But if you need an organized place for your mains, maintenance accessories and etc., choose the Qiyi or Moyu cubing bags instead. Seeing other reviews, Moyu's bag has much better compartmentalization features and is all-around more suit for cubing. If you want a backpack with cubing compartments, get Moyu's backpack instead.
Such a pack. A lovely pack to keep my cubes from getting out of wack.
nothing wrong with it
idk what redeeming qualities there are in a backpack but this suits all of my needs
I feel like this bag could’ve had a little bit more potential. I have been let’s say studying this bag for a while now, and I haven’t really noticed anything, that most people might not have noticed when they first used the bag/the first 3 weeks or so of using it. Don’t get me wrong though, it is an excellent bag, I use it for school and going to competitions. Their is one zipped up pocket in the front (on the inside) that seems pretty tight, and doesn’t hold a lot, but I’ve managed to fit about 5-7 different types and sizes of cubes before it started to bulge a little. That pocket though feels pretty flimsy and think, so be carful with sharp parts on cubes and sharp objects when putting them in that slot/in the bag anywhere, so that it does not poke a whole/rip that pocket. I’ve had mine for about 3-5 months (idk when I got it, but it was around that timeframe) and it has not shown any weakness. What I mean by that is that I have not notice any rips or anything broken/somewhat broken on it/visible damage. There might be some damage, but I doubt it, because I have not noticed any major damage at all. Another flaw is that the Velcro/button clip things on the side, tear very easily, and mine are starting to show signs of that happening. Those things are designed to; I guess, like make the bag hold a tiny bit more, but it does not seem like it does anything, or even that for that matter. All they seem to do, is just get in the way, get some lint on stuff, and are just annoying.
Being honest... it is a top quality backpack made from great material and I use it everyday. That being said, there's nothing really in my opinion that defines this backpack as a cubing backpack, apart from the cubing picture on the bag. Inside the main compartment there is a place for a small sized laptop but if you're storage cubes, they will just need to be dropped in like any other bag. The front compartment is the same. Like I said, excellent quality backpack.. but just a backpack. If you're going to store cubes in it buy some cube pouches to protect them.
First of all the outside material is so good and it feels so sturdy. Next up there are two cases for laptops inside and there is enough space for even some clothes. In the front pocket there is space for arround ten cubes. Even though you put a lot of stuff in it you'll feel comfortable carying it.
P.S. It also gave me luck to win skewb
