Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

Wow! I got this cube at a competition and I was impressed. I remember it was the 1st cube I ever got a Sub-1 on. I didnt know how to properly lube cubes when I got it, so I just put some Weight 5 in the edges, this cube feels Buttery Smooth, fast, and a bit Bumpy, which I personally find Satisfying, even on tight tensions. The cube does not pop, nor Lock-Up. And of course, the tiles have a very nice texture and color which I found very helpful in gripping, Although I don't know if it is Competition legal.
I'd recommend this to both speed-solvers, and collectors alike.
Popping is my only big complaint with this cube. The mechanism is identical to a QiYi Sail, but the textured tiles & smaller size give it a really really nice feel. I take apart all of my cubes when I get them, but I actually held off setting this one up because it felt so good out of the box- mine had perfect tensions & was super smooth and fast, though a bit dry. One side eventually developed spring noise, and the cube got drier, so I've set it up myself now, but I very much liked it straight out of the box. The smoke-colored transparency & stylized/textured/fluorescent tiles look super sharp. I like this cube a lot from a collector's standpoint, but I don't know if it can really be considered a speedcube (unless you are comparing it to Rubik's brand); at least for me, I do not even try timing my solves on this- too fast & it WILL pop, & the outlined colors impact my recognition too much. Still, a very enjoyable cube that feels amazing in the hand, even before you make a single turn, & then feels great to turn as well. On a side note, the tiles are so fluorescent that in low light (in car with sun almost gone) it is actually much easier to tell the difference in colors than on any of my other cubes, & I have many. This surprised me, but though the contrast is great, the bare outlines still hurt my pattern recognition. Good cube for collectors, great for occasional solves, too touchy to be a main.
I just got it the 2 day and it poped. I don't know how to put it back together.
This is my first cube from this site and I can't say anything bad about this cube. It turns amazingly and I can say I probably will be ordering another cube from this site. Very pleased
I opened it yesterday and I really enjoy the tension on it already especially since its loose and i have a kinda flick turning style. Also, it's just a little bit slippery ex. the plastic. The squares are textured and i like that.
If you spin the cube really fast for fast solves, the cube will pop. Recommend for beginners not for speed solving because your cube will start to lockup and pop.
Ok i got this for my brother did my first turns it was really good fast i little under 45 degrees out of box so i tensioned it and it could easily cut 45 degrees. my brother is a really new cuber and he thought it waslike heaven stepping up from rubiks brand but a when he was on the way home on the bus it poped and he lost an edge piece and he's probably gonna order one for himself but it pops like once every million solves it sorta like qiyi's versionof YJ/MOYU,s transparent stickerless yulong/transparent stickerless aolong
all i can say is that this cube is absolutely amazing! my friend says that this might be better than the 15 dollar 3x3. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CUBE! it looks so cool too ^.^
This cube is nice. Apart from the looks (which is by itself the good reason to get this cube immediately), it features decent corner cutting, little lock-ups and overall turning stability. You might need time to get used to it, but this cube won't make you disappointed. My personal preference is to dry-clean it, loosen the tension for quarter to half turn of screws per each side on stock cube. This gives nice crispy feeling with no effect on corner-cutting ability.
N.B. when lubing !!NEVER!! use silicone-based solutions. Such lubes will eat through the cube's plastic like knife througn butter.
i got this cube today... it looks cool and has great turning. It doesnt pop, but it has very very minor lock ups. this is my first QiYi brand 3x3 cube, and it is great. it could be my main, if it was competition legal.
all i did to the cube was tension it and put some Weight 1 lube from the Cubicle in it, and its great. got me my first sub 20.(18.84) (:
