Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

this is an okay cube for a 4 by 4. but it has this sandy feeling that makes this worse.
this cube is terrible ootb. after lots of breaking in and set up its decent. I have had a few pops with this thing which is a pain to put back together. I would say this will work for a beginner 4x4 if you just want to try it but there's probably better ones for the price
This is an awesome budget cube for starting in this cubing community. I just recently started cubing was the 3 by 3 and once i figured that out i upgraded to 4 by 4 and now i am practicing everyday and getting a good at it. I might upgrade to 5 by 5.
At the start it may feel sandy, but after a few solves, and breaking it in, it will feel amazing!
Very sandy out of the box and it pops but it is good for beginners
Simply what you would expect out of an $8 4x4. It's dry, slow, and worst of all it pops often, which sucks because even-layer cube mechanisms are complicated. Just make sure to turn carefully and accurately to avoid any issues. I don't really like the pastel shades of the plastic and the frosted texture makes it feel very cheap (then again, $8 4x4) and decreases grip. The stickered edition is a little better, but don't expect a massive improvement. Or just buy a WuQue instead.
The cube came dry out of the box was too tight and didnt turn well
plus the frosted tiles are slippery and i dropped a lot while solving
This isnt quite the best 4x4 when ifirst got it i thought it was amazing. Back then i wuzza newb. Now looking back it was and still os very dry. Wouldnt recommend it but i guess if this your first one then DEFINETLY get it. I mean ita decent but just not the best of what you should expect from the cubicle. But yeah i guess you should get it for a beginner or if you are one . Very fin puzzle!
Out of the box, this cube was okay. But after a couple of solves, this cube became slightly faster. I set it up with some maru and it became my favorite cube. It was super smooth and fast, better than my aosu. The stickerless shades are nice, and I like the feel of the frosted plastic. Overall, the price is awesome for the performance of this cube. But I would only recommend this cube if you have Maru, DNM-37, Weight 2, Martian, or Galaxy.
This cube turns pretty well, though it can have a few lock ups. But one day, i was just doing any easy algorithm for fun, no reason for it, (r U r' r U r' r U r' r U r')and then a piece of the cube just popped out a bit. I thought i twas fine, it happened, before, and so i tried to get it back in, and the cube exploded. Not the best cube if you are speed solving!
