Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

out of the box it was kinda slow. but after some first turns it was fine.
As my first pyraminx, and first non-cube shaped cube, this was pretty good. The clicking noise is very loud. You could hear it across a hallway. The turning is very smooth, but one of the sides has a loud springy noise. it is slightly finger trickable. Overall, if you are a beginner you should get this cube (pyramid)
I bought this cube as my first pyraminx off of Amazon when I was first getting into cubing and this was very good for a slow cyber like me but not good Id you are looking for a fast cube. A bit slow and locks up a bit.
Now I knew this would be good cause its a Sheng Shou but wow. The caps are removable but it just locks into place with metal balls its kinda hard to turn with finger turns out of the box but still great. Buttery, great corner cutting, almost perfect turning very recommended!
This isn't the worst pyraminx I've tried (by no means). I do not like the feeling of it, since it's very magnetised, snapping into place. This makes it fairly hard to do finger tricks. Additionally, it locks up quite a lot. It is not at all flexy, which could be a plus for you, but I quite enjoy that feel and so don't like that either.
The sticker quality is very good, though, and I'm sure you could get some good times on it if you were more experienced than me (i average about 12 seconds at this point).
I'd just stick to the Moyu puzzle.
Let me first say that I am NOT very experienced with Pyraminx- takes me maybe 20 sec to solve. With that out of the way, I have to say that I really do like this Pyraminx, but doubt any speed solvers would use it as a main (unless modded). The MoYu Magnetic Pyraminx is far superior in speed & corner cutting (much better for speed solving), but I really like tactile feel of the ShengShou's ball bearing mechanism, as well as the stability (very very stable, especially compared to Magnetic MoYu). The ball bearings are sunk halfway into the pieces, so they create bumps that slip into indentations in other pieces when aligned, giving it a very satisfying tactile click with each turn, as well as keeping the piece in place for added stability. Corner cutting isn't great without modding. I have not had to tension/lube mine, but I am not that fast. If I were speed solving it, I would need to make adjustments, if not totally mod it. Sticker color & quality is great (mine has the normal ShengShou color scheme, unlike the reviewer in the video- vid is worth watching, btw). Overall, I'd say it's good for casual solvers, but the MoYu Magnetic Pyraminx is far superior for speedsolving.
This is my main pyraminx and it's good overall, before modding it it sucked at corner cutting and locked up alot, but was fast, when Florian modding this with sand paper it was amazing and corner cutting great and was fast, I would give this 5 stars but I recently tried a moyu and that one is WAYYYY better so I recomend that.
The puzzle on its own is good, but it's really worth it for the horribly translated instruction manual.
it's a good cube for starter cubers. But there are many better cubes on the market such as the moyu magnetic. It was good for starting off, and I could get a 9s solve, but compared to newer cubes, there are better ways to spend your money.
When you turn the tips you can hear the ballbarings (but sometimes not. I LOVE THIS PYRAMINX it is my main. It is loose and tight on some layers. overall I love this pyraminx.
