Product Description

The Tao Cube Light M is a new mid-range magnetic 3x3 speed cube by emerging cube manufacturer Tao Cube. Weighing only around 71g, this cube has a light, crunchy, and airy feel. The cube's magnets keep the positioning together while providing a lighter, non-overpowering feel. This cube's tension is adjustable using a tool reminiscent of the classic GAN tensioning tool.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Not Worth 22$

Although this cube may look like a Gans design, it is very different. OOTB it was a bit unstable and dry with weak magnets but with a bit of lube it started becoming really fast. The cube gives off a really crunchy feeling, which I personally enjoy. All in all, I don't think this cube may be worth 22$, as there are much better peforming cubes at this price point.

Good Quality at A Good Price

When you have as many cubes as I do, you start to become a lot more discerning with the ones that you buy, and more importantly, the ones you use on a daily basis. With this recent quarantine, I've been going through my collection and re familiarizing myself with a lot of my lesser used cubes (things tend to get ignored a bit when you have 200+), and I started to get a bit bored. There's only so many times that you can solve the same cubes over and over for 13 hours a day. As I was browsing through youtube, I saw a review by the smaller youtuber Willraj. My curiosity piqued, I went ahead and pulled the trigger, so to speak. I could not be happier with this cube. Is it as good as my Valk 3 Power M (Given to me personally by the creators)? No, of course not. But for what it is and at the price its sold for, it was a great purchase. I highly recommend this to any other discerning cubers out there.

eh...

even though it's good, it was similar to the older gan cube's design... at least it's cheaper!

Nice Cube

This cube is not bad at all! The magnets are a good strength and it is light and fast. The one downside for me is it is a bit loud and clacky. However, with some lube, this can be quieted down. Overall, not the best of the cubes in this price range but certainly not a bad cube.
