Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Very Good

OOTB this cube was very disappointing, it was slightly unstable, scratchy, and had a very annoying squeaky noise. I set it up with Angstrom Gravitas, Weight 5, and Mystic, broke it in, but I still didn't like it. I could still hear and feel the annoying squeaky noise, so I lubed the ring around the core with Weight 5, and it soon went away. After about 200 solves total over the period of 2 days, I started liking it more and more, and it's now my main. I would recommend this cube to anyone who wants a high quality 4x4 and is willing to put in some effort to make it good.

Cube gets a bad rep

This cube gets a bad rep, I don’t understand it. I genuinely think it’s no worse then aosu wrm and Mgc, the only minor thing is that the inner lays can catch a little bit when doing parity, but if you loosen the cube it’s not that bad. But compared to Aosu and MgC, this one is my main. It just turns so fast and smooth and is so quiet, it feels like the tornado v2 turned 4x4. Plus 30$ is not a terrible price, I think it’s great, I got a new PB single (36.30) and PB average (41.34).

A+++

I am not the most experienced 4x4 solver and I am pretty close to averaging 1 minute on 4x4 at the time of this post. Here are some bullet points about my experience with this cube.

-This was terrible out of the box, the cube clearly need break in.
-I broke the cube in by 90 degree tightening with the "Max Set Up"..
-After 2 days of spamming solves to break in, I need to loosen the cube alot.
-I am very happy with the cube despite how loose I needed to make it.

You really need accurate turning with this puzzle or you need to leave it really loose. If you are a little reckless with your turning, you are better off with the MoYu AoSu WRM or the YJ MGC 4. Even though I have made the cube very loose for my taste, I have yet to pop anything. This will be my main 4x4 over the AoSu WRM and YJJ MGC 4.

Exciting, Imperfect.

I don't know why or how so many unboxing videos show this cube being "amazing," because it's most certainly not. It's unstable, locky, and the noise the center-pieces make is infuriating. I was deeply disappointed based on advertising material I've seen giving it high marks based on ootb performance.

With setup & break-in, nearly all of these problems do get fixed. I lubed mine with Gravitas in the tracks, dignitas on pieces, weight 5 on the core, and 2 drops of dnm-37 in the corner hole, and that showed drastic improvement. The cube sped up, the layers turned more evenly, and the feel of the cube is significantly more pleasing.

The two primary issues that the cube has in my experience: First, the individual inner layer turns feel as though they catch on the internal pieces, no matter how I position my hands for turning. The other issue would be that this cube's corner-cutting falls a bit short when compared to other current flagships.

The primary cases in which you'd want to get this cube would be:
A) You're upgrading from a noticeably older cube (WuQue M, AoSu GTSM) or any budget or non-magnetic cube on the market
B) You want a cube with exceptional outer layer speed, and a distinct sandy feel

If you're coming from a Valk 4M, or the MoYu AoSu WRM, I'd probably skip this cube, as the upgrades are negligible at best.

Not as good as expected but still a decent cube

Honestly the modern budget puzzles like the meilong 4M and RS4M are better than this, which is why I don’t give it a very high rating, although it is still a great cube. The price is just too much for the modern market

Excellent

I bought two, one for me and one for my blind friend, we added textures with our own special method and love how smooth the cubes operate. I have tried three times blind folded and haven't made it all the way yet, always seem to mess up one formula when I don't have my visual queue's.

worst of the best

the turning is great probably the best on 4x4.
however the corner cutting is not that good.
overall its a good cube for the price.

i thing the mgc would better to get but this is still good and main worthy.

Not great

I heard this cube was amazing and main-worthy. I believed this until I got my own. Ootb it was very smooth but sticky so I took it apart, wiped off the pieces, and relubed it. The resulting cube was even worse than it was ootb. It is now slow, sluggish and catchy. I am quite disappointed. Qiyi just doesn't seem to be able to make good 4x4s anymore.

too small, not an amazing feel. but not a terrible cube

Smooth

This is easily the best feeling 4x4. Its performance isn't quite as good as the WRM but the feel, stability, and shades make up for that. 100% recommend it unless you'd rather save 10$ and get the MGC, which I personally do not recommend if you have the money for something better.
