Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

really fast shipping thank cubicle, OOTB it was dry and the layers were a bit tight, But overall after some setup it was pretty good.
This is my first Square-1, but I'm glad I got this one. It turns like a dream. The magnets help me keep track of rotations. It is a great puzzle to learn the square-1.
Highly recommend it!
Keep in mind that this is my first square-1. OOTB, the cube felt extremely dry, tight, and there was a lot of friction between the layers. I fixed the spring noise by adding in weight 5 in the springs and added some silk in the slice as well. I added a lot of dnm and qiyi m-lube in the U and D layers to smoothen them out. After a couple of days of breakin, this cube is an absolute joy to turn. It has that silky smooth and clacky feel, and I am really enjoying squan atm. I can really see how this is the best one on the market rn (until the MGC comes out?), but it does require a good amount of setup and breakin. The only con I have with this cube is that the corner cutting is quite lacking, but the strong magnets in the U and D layers help by aligning the layers.
Dry OOTB so I just put a drop of XMT-10. The slices have a satisfying glide to it with meduim to weak magnets. The other magnets are pretty strong. It is very fun to solve on.
OOTB, the cube was quite sandy, but after break in it became quite smooth. The top and bottom layers are quite slow, but the slice layer is extremely quick in contrast. Magnets are a great strength, and I have no problems with it. My only problem is that the corner cutting is quite lacking, but it hasn’t bothered me since i have rather accurate turning, Other than that, really good cube overall.
I don’t own one myself, but I recently was taught by a friend and got to use his. I have to say, every time I meet up with him, I immediately snatch it from him because I love this cube so much, I plan to get mine soon!
I love the square 1 the only thing that needs to be fixed is the layers the slice is smooth the layers are really stiff and needs Some breaking in but it is awesome!
Best squan I have ever used I went from low 45s to low 15s this is amazing best sq1 ever
This square-1 is the best one on the market. I set my stickerless black one with the max lubes and it is very fast, has a buttery smooth slice layer, and is extremely controlable. I used a QiFa square-1 before this, that was incorrectly set up, and was extremely sluggish, but when I set this one up and did my first solve, I broke my PB by 13 seconds. This puzzle is just that great, I would totally reccomend this to anyone wanting to buy a new square-1.
I’m not exactly into square one, but I do have some experience with both good and bad Squan hardware. This cube is wonderfully smooth and buttery, and it isn’t very loud. The magnets are just the right strength on both layers and in the slice, and I don’t have much issue executing algorithms. The only gripe I do have, however, is the corner cutting, which requires some force on the edges and is practically nonexistent on the corners. That said, I don’t think this is a deal breaker since the magnets do much of the legwork on aligning for you.
This is a worthwhile purchase.
